Abstract

Se describen métodos de ensayo que implican reacciones de enlace específicas las cuales son simplificadas en comparación con métodos conocidos. Un compuesto con la capacidad de producir quimioluminiscencia, es inmovilizado en un soporte sólido ya que es un miembro de un par de enlace específico para capturar un material para análisis preferente de una muestra. Un compuesto activador que activa el compuesto quimioluminiscente y que es conjugado para un elemento de par de enlace específico, se agrega en exceso junto con la muestra al soporte sólido. La adición de una solución activadora origina una reacción quimioluminiscente en los sitios en donde el conjugado activador ha sido enlazado en forma específica. Los métodos de ensayo son denominados ensayos sin separación, debido a que no requieren la eliminación o separación de la etiqueta de detección en exceso (conjugado activador) antes del paso de detección. Los métodos aplican a varios tipos de ensayo incluyendo inmunoensayos, ensayos de receptor-ligando y ensayos de hibridación de ácido nucleico.
