Abstract
Se provee un método para formar en frío pernos de pistón ahusados con red central o sin red en una secuencia de formado. El método elimina las operaciones secundarias tales como maquinado, fijación térmica, recubrimiento y formado secundario, entre otras. El método incluye las etapas de cortar una barra metálica en una pieza de lingote sustancialmente cilíndrica, extruir por troquelado la pieza del lingote para formar una primera cavidad en la pieza del lingote, extruir por troquelado la pieza del lingote para formar una segunda cavidad en la pieza del lingote, perforar la pieza de lingote para formar la pieza de lingote en forma de una pieza cilíndrica hueca, extruir por troquelado la pieza cilíndrica hueca en cualquier extremo para formar una pieza cilíndrica hueca que tenga un ahusamiento sobre una superficie interna de la pieza cilíndrica hueca en cualquier extremo.
