Abstract
Un sistema de rayos X digital para capturar imagenes de alta calidad al llevar al maximo la recoleccion de luz emitida desde una pantalla intensificadora en respuesta a impacto de rayos X. El sistema de rayos X digital incluye un alojamiento que tiene una pantalla intensificadora fluorescente para recibir rayos X emitidos, dos reflectores para llevar al maximo la recoleccion de luz y optimizar la ruta de luz desde la pantalla intensificadora y un conjunto de lentes. Un chip CCD recibe la luz del conjunto de lentes, para proporcionar una imagen digital para inmediato procesamiento a bordo o post-procesamiento por una computadora. El alojamiento es compacto y puede utilizarse como un reemplazo directo para cartuchos de pelicula tradicionales, sin mayores modificaciones al sistema. El conjunto de lentes incluyen lentes acoplados de forma libre para eliminar distorsiones opticas y el alojamiento incluye un sensor de luz para proporcionar medicion de exposicion y realimentacion. El sistema se disena para ser cuasi-monocromatico para mantener calidad de imagen consistente sobre toda el area de la pantalla intensificadora.
