Abstract
Se describe un proceso de moldeo por inyeccion para moldear una aleacion de metal en un articulo de forma casi neta que se caracteriza ademas porque la temperatura de procesamiento de la aleacion en la inyeccion se acerca a la liquida, de preferencia con un contenido de solidos maximo de 5%, con lo cual se puede producir un articulo moldeado de forma neta que tiene una estructura de ejes simetricos fina y homogenea sin dendritas direccionales, y un minimo de porosidad atrapada. Adecuadamente, el articulo solido resultante tiene optimas propiedades mecanicas sin la esperada porosidad y encogimiento por solidificacion atribuidos a articulos fundidos hechos a partir de fusiones sobrecalentadas. Se describe tambien un compuesto metal15 matriz que incluye un componente metalico, y que incluye tambien un componente de refuerzo incrustado en el componente metalico, el componente metalico y el componente de refuerzo son moldeados, a una temperatura casi liquida, por una maquina de moldeo.
