Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para efectuar el craking catalítico de una fracción de alimentación de petróleo crudo con una zolita cristalina conteniendo catalizadores de craking, que comprende: establecer en el fondo de un tubo ascendente orientado en forma vertical, una corriente de flujo ascendente de partículas catalizadoras regeneradas, calientes, que comprende zeolita cristalina suspendida en un gas elevador; introducir la alimentación de hidrocarburo en la corriente de partículas catalizadoras regeneradas, que fluya hacia arriba; hacer pasar la mezcla ascendentemente a través del tubo ascendente, para efectuar el craking catalítico de la alimentación: separar las partículas catalizadoras de la corriente de producto crakeado recuperado de la parte superior del tubo ascendente; y hacer pasar las partículas separadas a través de una zona de regeneración de catalizador, en donde se regeneran con un gas caliente que contiene oxígeno. efectivo para quemar el carbono depositado sobre las partículas catalizadoras utilizadas, antes de recircularlas desde el fondo del tubo ascendente; caracterizado en que: a) el gas elevador comprende una corriente de gas seco que contiene hidrocarburos, que contiene por lo menos 10 por ciento en volumen de hidrógeno, pero menos de 10 por ciento en volumen de C3 e hidrocarburos pesados, manteniéndose el contacto entre las partículas catalizadoras regeneradas. calientes y el gas elevador, durante un pequeño período de tiempo de desde 0.01 a 2 segundos, antes de la introducción en los mismos de la alimentación de hidrocarburo. para limitar de esta manera la deposición de coqu e sobre las partículas catalizadoras regeneradas, a 0.25 por ciento en peso o menos, antes de ponerlas en contacto con la alimentación de hidrocarburo; b) la alimentación de hidrocarburo es una fracción de petróleo crudo residual, de punto de ebullición superior a 343 grados C. que tiene un contenido de metal pesado, calculado en términos de equivalente de níquel, de por lo menos 4 y un residuo de carbono en pirólisis de por lo menos 1 por ciento; y c) el catalizador regenerado comprende de 1,000 a 50,000 ppm de metal pesado acumulado.
