Abstract
La présente invention concerne un accumulateur thermique et une unité d'échange thermique, comprenant, un matériau accumulateur thermique à l'état solide, un fluide caloporteur, et des organes d'entrée et de sortie d'énergie. L'invention se distingue, d'une part en ce que l'accumulateur comprend au moins une enceinte de transfert thermique, d'autre part en ce que le matériau accumulateur thermique à l'état solide est disposé autour de l'enceinte de transfert thermique, et enfin en ce que l'enceinte de transfert thermique contient le fluide caloporteur ainsi que les organes d'entrée et de sortie d'énergie, de façon que la totalité de la convection et la totalité de la conduction du transfert thermique au moyen du fluide caloporteur se produisent à l'intérieur de l'enceinte de transfert thermique considérée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de construction de l'accumulateur thermique, une centrale comprenant l'accumulateur, et un procédé d'utilisation de la centrale, ainsi que l'utilisation de l'accumulateur ou de la centrale.
