Abstract

본 발명은 서로 연통하는 근위 말단 및 원위 말단을 포함하며, 상기 근위 말단과 원위 말단 사이에 관형벽이 배치되어 있는 팽창성 스텐트로서, 상기 관형 벽은 종축 및, 그 종축에 거의 평행한 한쌍의 측벽을 갖는 다격형인 제1인 반복 패턴을 규정하도록 정렬된 다수개의 교차 부재에 의해 구획되는 다공성 표면을 가지며, 제1의 오목한 모양의 벽 및 제2의 볼록한 모양의 벽이 상기 측벽들을 연결하고, 상기 제1벽 및 제2벽은 상기 종축에 평행한 축을 따라 등거리이며, 상기 스텐트는 방사상의 외부로 향하는 힘을 스텐트에 적용함에 따라 제1의 수축상태로부터 제2의 팽창 상태로 팽창할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트에 관한 것이다. 상기 스텐트의 더욱 바람직한 형태는 서로 연통하는 근위 말단 및 원위 말단을 포함하는 팽창가능한 두갈래 스텐트로서, 상기 근위 말단은 1차 도입로를 포함하며, 상기 원위 말단은 한쌍의 2차 도입로를 포함하는데, 상기 스텐트는 방사상의 외부로 향하는 힘을 스텐트에 적용함에 따라 제1의 수축 상태로부터 제2의 팽창 상태로 팽창할 수 있다. 또한 상기 두갈래 스텐트를 목적하는 생체내 도입로에 이송하는 방법을 제공한다.

Claims (38)

  1. 서로 연통하는 근위 말단 및 원위 말단을 포함하는 팽창성 두갈래 스텐트로서, 상기 근위 말단은 1차 도입로를 포함하며 상기 원위 말단은 한쌍의 2차 도입로를 포함하고, 상기 스텐트는 방사상의 외부로 향하는 힘을 스텐트에 적용함에 따라 제1의 수축 상태로부터 제2의 팽창 상태로 팽창할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 팽창성 두갈래 스텐트.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 1차 도입로는 가늘고 길며, 상기 한쌍의 2차 도입로를 실질적으로 양분하는 종축을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
  3. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 1차 도입로는 다공성인 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 1차 도입로의 기공도는 다수개의 교차 부재에 의해 규정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 교차 부재가 제1의 반복 패턴을 규정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제1반복 패턴은 1차 도입로의 종축에 거의 평행한 한쌍의 측벽을 갖는 다각형이며, 제1의 오목한 모양의 벽 및 제2의 볼록한 모양의 벽은 상기 측벽들을 연결하고, 상기 제1벽 및 제2벽은 1차 도입로의 종축에 평행한 축을 따라서 등거리인 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.

  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제2의 반복 패턴은 1차 도입로의 종축에 거의 직각인 축을 따라 취한, 제1의 반복 패턴의 실질적은 거울 상인 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 2차 도입로는 가늘고 길며, 1차 도입로의 종축을 예각으로 교차하는 종축을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.

  37. 제36항에 있어서, 상기 카테터를 찌부러트리는 단계 및 상기 카테터를 목적하는 생체내 도입로로부터 제거하는 단계를 추가로 포함한느 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  38. 제34항 내지 제37항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 팽창력은 상기 1차 도입로 및 각각의 2차 도입로에 대해 동시에 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
