Abstract

본 발명은 차량의 조향 시스템에 적용되는 스티어링 샤프트의 에너지 흡수장치에 관한 것으로써, 특히 조향장치의 스티어링 튜브 내에 삽입되는 스티어링 샤프트에 세레이션 걸림부를 형성하고, 상기 스티어링 샤프트가 결합되는 스티어링 튜브를 코킹하여 압압부를 형성시켜 차량의 충돌시 조향핸들에 가해지는 충격에너지를 2차 하중으로 분산흡수하여 운전자를 충격으로부터 보호할 수 있으면서 구조를 간소화시키고, 부품수와 공정수를 줄여 조립성을 향상시킬수 있고 장착 사용시 내구성을 높여 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 차량용 스티어링 샤프트 에너지 흡수장치에 관한 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 조향핸들(1)와 연결되는 스티어링 튜브(12)에 결합되는 스티어링 샤프트(13)에 세레이션 걸림부(14)(14′)를 형성하고, 상기 스티어링 샤프트(13)의 세레이션 걸림부(14)(14′)사이로 스티어링 튜브(12)를 코킹하여 압입부(15)(15′)를 내측으로 돌출되도록 형성하여 구성함을 특징으로 한 차량용 스티어링 샤프트 에너지 흡수장치.
