Abstract

본 발명은 차량용 자동 방향지시등 점멸장치에 관한 것으로, 일반적으로 차량주행을 하다가 차선을 바꾸고자 할 때 운전자가 방향지시등을 점멸시키는 것을 미처 생각하지 못해 상기 방향지시등을 점멸시키지 않고 끼어들기를 하는 경우에 종래의 차량에는 자동으로 방향전환을 알리는 아무런 장치가 없어 후방차량과의 접촉사고를 방지할 수 없는 문제점을 해소하기 위하여, 차량용 스티어링 컬럼 커버(4) 상측에 칼라센서(6)를 장착함과 더불어 상기 스티어링 커버(2)에 세가지의 색표시가 된 칼라신호발생 링(5)을 구비하여 차량의 운전자가 차선을 바꾸기 위해 차량의 스티어링 휠(1)을 소정 각도로 틀게 되면 상기 차량의 초음파 센서(10)에 의해 전후방 차량의 존재가 확인된 후 상기 칼라센서(6)가 상기 스티어링 휠(1)의 회전에 따라 변화된 상기 칼라신호발생링(5)의 색깔 배열을 감지하여 제어부(9)에 소정 신호를 보내면 상기 제어부(9)에 의해 상기 스티어링 휠(1)의 회전방향이 판단되게 되고, 그에 따라 자동으로 차량의 전후측 방향지시등(7,8)이 점멸되게 됨으로서 운전자가 미처 차량의 방향지시등을 점멸시키는 것을 잊은 상태에서 급작스런 차선변경할 때 발생되는 접촉사고를 방지할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 차량용 스티어링 컬럼 휠(1)의 하측에 스티어링 커버(2), 컨택트 슬라이딩(3) 및 스티어링 커럼 커버(4)가 구비되는 차량에 있어서, 상기 스티어링 커버(2)의 중심축 둘레에 부착되되 세가지 색이 배열되는 칼라 신호발생 링(5)와, 상기 칼라신호발생 링(5)의 색깔배열을 감지하도록 상기 스티어링 컬럼 커버(4) 상측에 구비되는 칼라센서(6)와, 상기 칼라센서(6)로부터 소정 신호를 입력받아 상기 스티어링 휠(1)의 회전각도 따라 감지된 색깔 배열을 판단한 후 상기 스티어링 휠(1)의 회전방향을 판단하여 상기 차량의 좌,우측 방향지시등(7,8) 중 판단된 방향의 방향지시등에 소정의 제어신호를 보내는 제어부(9)와, 상기 차량의 전,후측 방향에 주행중인 전,후방 차량이 존재하는지의 여부를 감지하여 상기 제어부(9)에 소정신호를 보내는 초음파 센서(10)가 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 자동 방향지시등 점멸장치.
