차량용 안전거리감지 장치

[산업상의 이용분야]
본 고안은 차량용 안전거리감지장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 주행속도에 따른 앞차와의 차간거리가 일정거리이내로 되면, 브레이크페달을 밟지 않더라도 제동등이 켜지게 되어 차량의 안전운행을 도모할 수 있도록 된 차량용 안전거리감지장치에 관한 것이다.
[종래의 기술 및 그 문제점]
통상 자동차에서는 그 후방에 뒤따라오는 차량의 안전운행을 도모할 수 있도록 브레이크를 밟음과 동시에 제동등이 점등되도록 되어 있다.
즉, 제 1 도에서 운전자가 브레이크페달(9)을 밟아주게 되면 접점스위치(4)가 온되어 축전지(3)로 부터의 전원이 차량 뒷부분의 좌우 양측에 설치된 제동등(6)에 공급되게 됨으로써 제동등(6)이 점등되어 그 차량의 후방에 위치하는 차량에 경고를 주도록 되어 있다.
따라서, 차량이 정체되거나 전방시야가 나쁠 때에는 운전자들은 앞 차량의 전방상황에 관계없이 주로 앞차량의 제동등의 점멸상태에 따라 주행속도와 차간거리를 결정하고 있다.
그러나, 제 1 도에 도시된 종래의 제동등 점등회로에 있어서는 제동등(6)의 점소등이 전적으로 운전자의 조작에 의존하도록 되어 있기 때문에, 만일 앞차량이 그 전방차량과 일정 차간거리(안전거리)를 유지하지 않는 위험한 상태로 운행하고 있게 되면 그를 뒤따르는 차량의 운전자는 전방차량의 주행상황을 감지할 수가 없기 때문에 앞차량의 급제동시 연쇄추돌사고를 피할 수 없게 되는 상황이 되고 만다.
[고안의 목적]
이에 본 고안은 상기한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출된 것으로, 전방차량과의 안전거리가 유지되지 않는 경우에는 제동등을 자동적으로 점등시킴으로써 뒤따르는 차량의 안전을 도모할 수 있도록 된 차량용 안전 거리감지장치를 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
[고안의 구성]
상기 목적을 실현하기 위한 본 고안은 거리감지센서(1)와 속도계(7) 및 제동등(6)을 갖춘 자동차에 있어서, 축전지(3)와 상기 제동등(6)사이에 접속되어 있는 릴레이스위치(5)와, 거리감지센서(1)에서 감지된 앞차와의 거리와 속도계(7)에 의한 주행속도를 근거로 전방차량과의 안전거리를 판단하여 안전거리가 유지되지 않은 경우에 상기 릴레이스위치(5)를 온시켜 상기 제동등(6)을 점등시키도록 된 제어회로부(8)를 구비하여 구성되어 있다.
[작용]
상기한 구성으로 된 본 고안에 의하면 제어회로부(8)가 전방차량과의 거리와 주행속도를 근거로 안전거리를 판단하여, 안전거리가 유지되지 않은 경우에는 제동등(16)을 점등시켜 후방차량에게 경고를 줌으로써 후방차량의 안전을 도모할 수 있게 된다.
[실시예]
이하 본 고안을 첨부도면을 참조해서 상세히 설명한다.
제 2 도는 본 고안에 따른 차량용 안전거리감지장치를 도시해 놓은 회로도로서, 축전지(3)와 제동등(6) 사이에는 브레이크페달(9)과 연동하여 온, 오프되는 접점스위치(4)와 제어회로부(8)에 의해 온, 오프제어되는 릴레이스위치(5)로 구성된 스위치부(2)가 접속되고, 상기 릴레이스위치(5)에는 거리감지센서(1)로 부터 거리감지신호와 속도계(7)로부터의 속도신호가 인가되는 제어회로부(8)가 접속되어 있다.
여기서, 상기 거리감지센서(1)는 예컨대 레이저광선이나 적외선, 또는 자외선등을 이용하여 거리를 감지할 수 있도록 구성된 것으로서, 이는 차량의 앞쪽 좌우측에 설치되게 된다.
또, 상기 제어회로부(8)는 마이크로프로세서(또는 마이크로컴퓨터)등으로 구성된 것으로, 이는 상기 거리감지센서(1)로 부터의 거리감지신호와 속도계(7)로 부터의 현재의 주행속도에 따른 속도신호를 근거로 전방차량과의 거리가 안전거리에 해당되는지를 판단하여, 그에 따라 릴레이스위치(5)를 온, 오프제어하게 된다.
따라서, 운전자가 브레이크페달(9)을 밟아 접점스위치(4)를 온시키지 않더라도 현재의 차량의 주행속도에 따른 안전거리가 확보되지 않은 경우에는 제어회로부(8)가 릴레이스위치(5)를 온시켜 제동등(6)을 점등시켜주게 됨으로써 후방차량의 안전을 도모할수 있게된다.
[고안의 효과]
이상설명한 바와같이 본고안에 의하면, 차량간의 거리가 감지되어져 브레이크페달(9)을 밟지 않은 상태에서도 차량간의 거리와 주행속도에 따른 제동거리에 따라 제어회로부(8)에 의해 제동등(6)이 점멸되게 됨으로써, 차량간의 연쇄추돌사고가 방지되어 안전운행을 도모할수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

  1. 거리감지센서(1)와 속도계(7) 및 제동등(6)을 갖춘 자동차에 있어서, 축전지(3)와 상기 제동등(6)사이에 접속되어 있는 릴레이스위치(5)와, 거리감지센서(1)에서 감지된 앞차와의 거리와 속도계(7)에 의한 주행속도를 근거로 전방차량과의 안전거리를 판단하여 안전거리가 유지되지 않은 경우에 상기 릴레이스위치(5)를 온시켜 상기 제동등(6)을 점등시키도록 된 제어회로부(8)를 구비하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 안전거리감지장치.
