Abstract

본 발명은 액정 배향막의 제조 방법 및 액정표시소자에 관한 것이다. 더욱 상세하게는, 러빙 처리를 실시하지 않고, 직선 편광된 자외선 조사에 의해 액정 배향능을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법 및 그 액정 배향막을 갖는 액정표시소자에 관한 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 자외선에 관응하는 유기막에 직선 편광된 자외선을 조사함으로써 액정 배향능을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법.
  2. 벤조페논 구조, 칼콘(벤잘아세토페논) 구조, 스틸렌 구조, 아트라퀴논 구조 또는 카르바졸 구조 중 어느 하나를 갖는 중합체로 이루어진 유기막에 직선 편광된 자외선을 조사함으로써 액정 배향능을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법.
  3. 제 2항에 있어서, 중합체가 테트라카르복실산 이무수물과 디아민 화합물과의 반응에 의해 수득되는 폴리아미드산 및 폴리이미드로부터 선택되는 적어도 1종의 중합체로서, 테트라카르복실산 이무수물과 디아민 화합물 중 적어도 1종의 성분에 벤조페논 구조, 칼콘 구조(벤잘아세토페논) 구조, 스틸벤 구조, 안트라퀴논 구조 또는 카르바졸 구조 중 어느 하나를 갖는 화합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법.
  4. 제 3항에 있어서, 폴리아미드산 및 폴리이미드가 벤조페논 구조, 칼콘(벤잘아세토페논) 구조, 스틸벤 구조, 아트라퀴논 구조 또는 카르바졸 구조 중 어느 하나를 갖는 테르라카르복실산 이무수물 및(또는) 디아민 화합물과, 다른 테트라카르복실산 이무수물 및(또는) 디아민 화합물과의 반응에 의해 수득되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 액정 배향막의 제조 방법.
  5. 직선 평광된 자외선을 조사함으로써 액정 배향능을 부여한 액정 배향막을 갖는 액정표시소자.
