Abstract
본 발명은 스텐트에 대한 것과 와이어로부터 스텐트를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이며, 그 방법에는 축상에 와이어를 권선하고, 코일형 스프링을 형성하기 위해 가열하며, 역전 코일형 스프링 스텐트를 형성하기 위해 코일형 스프링의 권선방향을 역전시키는 것을 포함한다. 그렇게 형성된 스텐트는 스텐트 코일의 외부 전부 또는 일부를 부분적으로 이완하기 위하여 일정한 축상에 재가열된다. 스텐트는 반대방향으로 권선된 인접 섹션과 함께 둘 이상의 섹션으로 구성된다. 그러한 스텐트는 도관상에 스텐트를 권선시키고, 와이어의 양단 및 하나 이상의 중간지점을 고정시키며, 전개되고자 하는 위치로 스텐트를 보냄으로써 전개되며, 그러면 제일 먼저 중간지점(들)이 풀려지고 양단 지점이 풀려진다. 나사선이 절연되고 와이어가 풀어지도록 와이어를 고정하여 나사선을 가열함으로써 와이어를 풀 수 있다.

제1도는 단일 권선으로된 종래 스텐트의 투시도,
제2도는 제1도와 같은 스텐트의 권선을 전도시킴으로써 입수된 본 발명에 따른 단일 권선 스텐트의 투시도,
제3도는 각각 서로 다른 가열 싱크 용량을 갖는 두 섹션을 구비한 측상에서 재가열되는 본 발명에 따른 스텐트의 측단면도이며,
제4도는 종래 기술에 따라 도관상에 권선되고 고정된 스텐트의 투시도이다.
Claims (17)
- 와이어로부터 스텐트를 제조하는데 있어서, (a) 제1축상에 와이어를 권선시키며; (b) 코일형 스프링을 형성하기 위해 감겨진 와이어를 가열시키며; 그리고 (c) 상기 코일형 스프링을 충분히 냉각시킨 후, 스텐트를 형성하기 위해 상기 코일형 스프링의 권선방향을 역전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 와이어로부터 스텐트를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, (d) 제2축상에 상기 스텐트를 배치시키며; 그리고 (e) 상기 스텐트를 부분적으로 이완하기 위해 충분히 짧은 시간동안 상기 역전 코일형 스프링을 재가열시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 와이어로부터 스텐트를 제조하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2축은 서로 다른 가열 싱크 용량을 갖는 적어도 두 개의 영역으로 구성되어 있기 때문에, 상기 적어도 두 개의 영역에 놓인 상기 스텐트 부분은 상기 재가열시키는 동안에 서로 다른 정도로 이완되는 것을 특징으로 하는 와이어로부터 스텐트를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 의한 방법에 의해서 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 제2항에 의한 방법에 의해서 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 제3항에 의한 방법에 의해서 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 와이어가 일방향으로 권선된 적어도 하나의 섹션과 그와 반대방향으로 권선된 적어도 하나의 섹션을 포함하는 코일형 와이어로 구성되는 스텐트에 있어서, 도관상에 스텐트를 견고하게 권선시킴으로써 상기 스텐트를 전개시켜 스텐트 자신의 정상 치수로 회복되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 와이어는 실제적으로 와이어의 절반의 섹션을 각각 갖는 두 개의 섹션을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- (a) 도관상에 스텐트를 견고하게 권선시키며; (b) 와이어의 양단 지점과 상기 와이어상의 적어도 하나의 중간 지점을 고정하며; (c) 스텐트를 전개시키고자 하는 위치로 보내고; (d) 상기 양단 지점이 고정되어 있는 동안에, 와이어상의 상기 중간지점을 풀어줌으로써 상기 스텐트의 권선이 풀려지며; 그리고 (e) 상기 와이어의 상기 양단 지점을 풀어주는 것을 특징으로 하는 제7항의 스텐트를 워하는 위치에 전개시키는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 와이어는 일방향으로 권선되어 있는 적어도 두 개의 섹션과 반대 방향으로 권선되어 있는 적어도 두 개의 섹션을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 와이어는 각 섹션이 실제로 단일 루프로 구성되는 다수의 섹션을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- 제11항에 있어서, 튜브 모양의 멤버를 형성하기 위해 스텐트가 유연한 필름에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트.
- (a) 도관상에 스텐트를 견고하게 권선시키며; (b) 절연가능한 나사 선을 사용하여 스텐트상에 적어도 두 개의 매듭을 고정시키며; (c) 스텐트를 전개시키고자 하는 위치로 보내고; (d) 상기 절연가능한 나사선은 용해가능하며, 상기 나사 선을 용해시키기 위해 상기 나사 선을 가열함으로써 상기 나사 선은 절연되며, 하나 이상의 상기 매듭에서 상기 나사 선을 절연시킴으로써 상기 매듭을 풀어주는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트를 원하는 위치로 전개시키는 방법.
- (a) 스텐트를 전기적으로 전원 공급장치에 연결하며; (b) 스텐트에 전류를 공급하고; (c) 상변화를 나타내기 위하여 적어도 하나의 전기적인 성질의 변화를 감지하며; (d) 상기 변화에 반응하여 상기 전류를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트의 마르테사이트 상을 오스테나이트 상으로 이동시켜 상변화를 감지하기 위해 니티놀 스텐트를 가열하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 전기적인 성질은 전압강하 변화인 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트의 마르텐사이트 상을 오스테나이트 상으로 이동시켜 상변화를 감지하기 위해 니티놀 스텐트를 가열하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 전기적인 성질은 전류변화인 것을 특징으로 하는 스텐트의 마르텐사이트 상을 오스테나이트 상으로 이동시켜 상변화를 감지하기 위해 니티놀 스텐트를 가열하는 방법.
