Abstract

하드웨어 커서에 해당하는 데이타를 저장하는 비데오 램과; 사용자에 의하여 선택된 키의 동작 상태에 해당하는 신호를 출력하고 시스템 인터럽트 신호를 출력하는 키보드 컨트롤러와; 배터리의 현재 충전 전압 상태를 감지하여 해당하는 신호를 출력하는 PMS 컨트롤러와; 초기 컴퓨터 구동에 따른 셋업단계에서 설정된 작업 환경이나, PMS의 모드 및 레벨에 해당하는 데이타를 저장하는 저장 수단과; 상기 키보드 컨트롤러에서 PMS 모드 및 레벨 표시에 해당하는 키 신호가 출력되면,상기 비데오 램에 설정된 하드웨어 커서에 해당하는 데이타를 읽어 해당하는 모니터의 좌표상에 표시하는 비데오 컨트롤러와; 상기 키보드 컨트롤러에서 인터럽트 신호가 발생되면 상기 저장 수단에 저장된 PMS 모드와 레벨을 판독하고 상기PMS 컨트롤러로부터 현재 배터리 용량을 판독한 다음, 상기 비데오 컨트롤러를 구동시켜 표시되는 하드웨어 커서상에 판독된 데이타를 표시하는 동작을 제어하는 동작 제어수단으로 이루어지는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS레벨표시 장치는, 하드웨어 커서를 이용하여 사용자가 임의의 키를 조작하면 현재 설정된 PMS 모드와 레벨 그리고 배터리의 현재 레벨 상태를 표시하므로써, 언제라도 사용자가 손쉽게 PMS 모드 및 레벨의 확인 및 변경이 가능하여 PMS 관리를 효율적으로 수행할 수 있다.

Description

휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 피엠에스 레벨표시 장치 및 그 방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드 웨어 커서를 이용한 피엠에스 레벨 표시 장치의 구성 블럭도이고, 제2도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드 웨어 커서를 이용한 피엠에스 레벨 표시 상태도이고, 제3도는 이 발명의 실시예에 따른 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 중앙 처리 장치의 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 피엠에스 레벨 표시 동작 순서도이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 하드웨어 커서에 해당하는 데이타를 저장하는 비데오 램과; 사용자에 의하여 선택된 키의 동작 상태에 해당하는 신호를 출력하고 시스템 인터럽트 신호를 출력하는 키보드 컨트롤러와; 배터리의 현재 충방전 전압 상태를 감지하여 해당하는 신호를 출력하는 PMS컨트롤러와; 초기 컴퓨터 구동에 따른 셋업 단계에서 설정된 작업 환경이나, PMS의 모드및 레벨에 해당하는 데이타를 저장하는 저장 수단과; 상기 키보드 컨트롤러에서 PMS 모드 및 레벨 표시에 해당하는 키 신호가 출력되면, 상기 비데오 램에 설정된 하드웨어 커서에 해당하는 데이타를 읽어 해당하는 모니터의 좌표상에 표시하는 비데오 컨트롤러와; 상기 키보드 컨트롤러에서 인터럽트 신호가 발생되면 상기 저장 수단에 저장된 PMS 모드와 레벨을 판독하고 상기 PMS 컨트롤러로부터 현재 배터리 용량을 판독한 다음, 상기 비데오 컨트롤러를 구동시켜 표시되는 하드웨어커서상에 판독된 데이타를 표시하는 동작을 제어하는 동작 제어 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS 벨 표시 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 동작 제어 수단은, 하드웨어 상에 판독된 PMS 모드 및 레벨을 표시한 다음, 사용자의 키선택 동작에 따른 PMS 모드 및 레벨 변경에 해당하는 키신호가 입력되면, 키동작에 따라 PMS 모드 및 레벨을 변경시켜 해당하는 데이타를 비데오 컨트롤러로 전송하여 모니터의 하드웨어 상에 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS 레벨 표시 장치.
  3. 전원이 인가되어 모든 사용 변수를 초기화한 다음 인터럽트 발생 여부를 판단하는 단계와; 상기에서 발생된 인터럽트가 PMS 모드 및 레벨을 표시하기 위한 인터럽트인 경우에,초기의 셋업 단계에서 설정된 PMS 모드 및 레벨을판독하는 단계와 현재 컴퓨터의 구동 전원인 배터리의 용량을 감지하는 단계와; 키보드 컨트롤러를 구동신호를 출력하고상기에서 판독된 PMS 모드 및 레벨 그리고 배터리의 용량에 해당하는 데이타를 전송시켜, 모니터상에 표시되는 하드웨어커서상에 상기 데이타를 표시하는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS레벨 표시 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 하드웨어 상에 판독된 PMS 모드 및 레벨을 표시한 다음, 사용자의 키선택동작에 따른 PMS모드 및 레벨 변경에 해당하는 키신호가 입력되면, 키동작에 따라 PMS 모드 및 레벨을 변경시켜 해당하는 데이타를 비데오 컨트롤러로 전송하여 모니터의 하드웨어상에 표시하는 단계를 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS 레벨 표시방법.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 인터럽트 발생여부를 판단하는 단계에 있어서 모든 오퍼레이팅 시스템상에서 동작이 가능하도록 사용자의 특정키 입력동작이 이루어지면 최상위 인터럽트인 SMI를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 하드웨어 커서를 이용한 PMS 레벨 표시방법.
