Abstract

전기 터미널들(16)을 포함하며 내부에 캐비티(18)를 구비한 베이스 유니트(14), 터미널들(16)과 결합하기 위하여 캐비티(18)내에 수용되기 적합한 전기 컨넥터(4), 컨넥터(4)의 삽입에 따라서 변위가능하며 캐비티(18)내에서 적어도 2개의 터미널들(16)을 함께 단락시키기 위한 콘택트아암들(38)을 구비한 단락 클립(12), 캐비티(18)의 측부를 따라서 배치된 베이스(14)에 컨넥터(4)를 견고하게 지지시키 위한 지지 시스템(8,50)을 구비한 전기 상호접속 시스템(2)에 있어서 단락 클립(12)은 캐비티(12)의 바닥면에 배치되며 콘택트 아암들(38)은 컨넥터의 삽입에 따라서 터미널들(116)과의 결합으로부터 붕괴가능한 것을 특징으로 한다. 상호접속 시스템은 베이스와 플러그 컨넥터의 구조를 최소화할 수 있는 효과를 가지며, 단락 클립이 붕괴가능한 면은 캐비티의 측부를 따라서 지지 시스템의 일체화를 가능하게 한다.

제2도는 제1도의 전기 상호접속 시스템의 완전히 상호 접속된 측단면도,
제7도는 본 발명에 따른 전기적 상호접속 시스템의 다른 실시예의 부분 절단 및 분해 사시도.

Claims (9)

  1. 한쌍의 터미널들을 가지는 캐비티를 내부에 구비한 베이스 유니트와, 연장된 플러그부를 구비하며 캐비티 내에 수용될 때 상기 플러그부를 통하여 접근 가능한 상기 터미널들에 보족적인 콘택트를 포함하는 컨넥터와, 베이스 유니트에 컨넥터를 지지하기 위한 지지부재들을 포함하는 자동차 에어백 시스템용 전기적 상호접속 시스템에 있어서, 상기 지지부재들은 부품의 파손없이 시스템의 해제를 방지하기 위하여 견고하게 결합하기 위한 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호접속 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 지지부재들을 분리하기 위한 해제부재는 파손없이 시스템을 분리할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호접속 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 해제부재는 컨넥터 상에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호접속 시스템.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 지지부재들은 컨넥터 또는 베이스 유니트 및 랜스가 구비되지 않은 다른 컨넥터상의 견부 또는 베이스 유니트상에 위치되는 탄성 랜스이며, 랜스는 캐비티 내로의 플러그 삽입시 견부가 통과할 때까지 휘어지며 랜스와 견부간의 끼워맞춤으로 인하여 컨넥터의 제거가 방지되도록 외측으로 휘어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호접속 시스템.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 랜스들은 캐비티 내에 수용된 슬리이브 부재와 플러그상의 견부를 구비한 칼라상에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호접속 시스템.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 해제부재는 플러그 상에 슬라이딩 가능하게 배치된 칼라인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호접속 시스템.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 터미널들을 함께 단락시키기 위한 단락부재는 캐비티 내에 배치되며, 단락부재는 터미널들을 단락시키는 제1위치와 콘택트와 터미널들이 단락이 이루어지지 않는 위치에서 결합할 때 얻을 수 있는 제2위치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호접속 시스템.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 단락부재는 지지부재들 중 하나와 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호접속 시스템.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 단락부재와 지지부재는 단일부재의 부분으로서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 상호 접속 시스템.
