Abstract

특수한 코드나 전용 IC 칩 등과의 일치성을 판단하는 것이 아니라, 사회적으로 독자성이 인식되어 모방의 배제가 효과적으로 이루어지는 상표와 같은 특정 표시와의 일치성을 판단함으로써 보안성을 확보한다. 게임기 본체(10)에 CD-ROM(17)을 장착함으로써, CD-ROM(17)에 격납된 프로그램 정보에 따른 게임을 행하는 게임 장치에서 CD-ROM(17)의 장착시에 CD-ROM(17)의 외표면의 상표 표시부(20)을 독취하는 인식 센서 (22)와, 인식 센서(22)로부터의 정보에 따라 상표 표시부(20)에 특정 상표 TM이 표시되어 있는지의 여부를 판단하는 판단부(26)을 갖고, 표시되어 있지 않은 경우에는 프로그램 정보에 따른 게임을 정지한다.

Claims (29)

  1. 정보가 격납된 정보 기억 매체가 장착되는 매체 장착부. 상기 매체 장착부에 장착된 상기 정보 기억 매체면에 규정되고, 상기 정보가 격납되어 있는 정보 영역과 미리 정해진 소정 영역을 광학적으로 검출하는 광 검출 수단, 특정 표시에 대응하는 기준 신호가 격납된 격납 수단 및 상기 정보 기억 매체면의 상기 소정 영역을 상기 광 검출 수단으로 검출해서 얻어지는 검출 신호와 상기 격납 수단에 격납된 상기 기준 신호를 비교하고, 상기 정보 기억 매체의 상기 소정 영역에 상기 특정 표시가 표시되어 있는지의 여부를 판정하는 판정 수단을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  2. 게임 프로그램이 격납된 정보 기억 매체가 장착되는 매체 장착부, 상기 매체 장착부에 장착된 상기 정보 기억 매체면에 규정되고, 상기 게임 프로그램이 격납되어 있는 정보 영역과 미리 정해진 소정 영역을 광학적으로 검출하는 광 검출 수단, 상기 정보 기억 매체에 격납된 상기 게임 프로그램에 따라 게임을 제어하는 게임제어부, 특정 표시에 대응하는 기준 신호가 격납된 격납 수단 및 상기 정보 기억 매체면의 상기 소정 영역을 상기 광 검출 수단에 의해 광학적으로 검출해서 얻어지는 검출 신호와 상기 격납 수단에 격납된 상기 기준 신호를 비교하고, 상기 소정 영역에 상기 특정 표시가 표시되어 있는지의 여부를 판정하는 판정 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 판정 수단에 의한 판정 결과에 따라 전자 장치의 동작 상태를 제어하는 동작 제어 수단을 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 동작 제어 수단은 상기 판정 수단이 상기 정보 기억 매체면의 상기 소정 영역에 상기 특정 표시가 표시되어 있지 않다고 판정했을 때, 전자 장치의 동작을 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 판정 수단이 상기 정보 기억 매체면의 상 소정 영역에 상기 특정 표시가 표시되어 있지 않다고 판정했을 때, 상기 게임 프로그램의 수행을 정지하는 동작 제어 수단을 더 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.

  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 정보 기억 매체의 상기 정보 영역에는 피트에 의한 디지탈 정보로서 상기 정보가 기입되어 있고, 상기 정보 기억 매체의 상기 소정 영역에는 피트의 집합체에 따라 목시 가능하게 상기 특정 표시가 기입되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  11. 제1항 내지 10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 정보 기억 매체는 CD-ROM인것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
  12. 제1항 내지 11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 특정 표시는 이것을 상기 정보 기억 매체에 표시하는 행위에 관해 정당권원을 갖는 자 이외의 자가 사용할 경우에 그 표시 행위를 금지할 수 있는 표시인 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 장치.
