Abstract
본 발명은 주쇄가 요소결합 및 아미드결합에 의해 형성되는 특정한 중합체를 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 액정배향막은 그 제조시 고온의 열처리를 필요로 하지 않으며, 150℃정도 이상의 온도에서 충분하므로, 제조가 용이하며 또 다른 소자재료를 손상할 우려가 없고, 기판으로서 글라스기판 뿐만아니라 내열성이 낮은 플라스틱 등도 사용할 수 있다. 그래서 그 액정배향막은 액정배향성, 내열성, 투명성, 강도, 기판과의 밀착성 등 여러 특성이 우수하며, 특히 높고 또한 안정성이 좋은 프리틸트각을 제공하므로, 본 발명의 액정표시소자는 특히 STN 방식의 액정표시소자에 매우 유리하게 사용할 수 있다.

Claims (4)
- 폴리요소계 반복구조단위 및 폴리아미드계 반복구조단위를 동일분자중에 포함하고 있는 중합체를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막.
- 하기 일반식(I)(R1-NHCONH-R2-NHCONH) (I)(식중 R1은 2가의 유기기 또는 단결합, R2는 2가의 유기기를 나타낸다)로 표시되는 반복구조단위 및 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)(식중 R3은 4가의 유기기, R4는 2가의 유기기를 나타낸다)로 표시되는 반복구조단위를 동일 분자중에 포함하고 있는 중합체를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기한 일반식(Ⅱ)에 있어서, R4가 하기 일반식(Ⅲ)으로 표시되는 치환기를 1개이상 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정배향막.-X-R5-R6(Ⅲ)(식중 X는 2가의 연결기 또는 단결합, R5는 2가의 유기기 또는 단결합, R6는 탄소수 12이상의 알킬기 또는 탄소수 1이상의 플르오르알킬기를 나타낸다)
- 제1항 내지 3항에 기재된 액정배향막을 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
