본 발명은 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 위치하는 액정 물질이 다음 일반식에 의해 특정지워지는 실록산 함유 화합물인 액정 장치에 관한 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 액정 물질이 다음 일반식에 의해 특정지워지는 실록산 함유 화합물인 액정 장치.
    상기식에서, R은 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹이거나 그룹
    R'는 각각 탄소수 1 내지 4의 알킬 그룹이며, T는이고, X는 하나 이상의 키랄 중심을 갖는 알킬 또는 할로겐 치환된 알킬 그룹이며, Y는 불소원자이고, m은 0, 1 또는 2의 값이며, n은 10, 11 또는 12의 값이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R'가 각각 메틸인 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, R이 탄소수 1 내지 6의 알킬 그룹인 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, R이 탄소수 1 내지 6의 알킬 그룹인 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 액정 물질이 그 사이에 위치하는 한 쌍의 기관을 포함하는 장치.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, n이 11인 장치.
