Abstract
본 발명은 평평한 판넬 디스플레이 장치에서의 기판으로 사용되는 유리에 관한 것으로서, 좀더 상세하게는 다결정 실리콘 박막 트란지스터를 사용하는 LCDs에서의 기판으로 사용되는 유리에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 유리 조성성분은 필수적으로 알칼리, 금속산화물이 포함되어 있지 않으며 몰 백분율로 다음의 조성으로 필수적으로 이루어져 있다.

Claims (10)
- 알칼리 금속 산화물이 필수적으로 포함되지 않고 산화물 기준으로 몰백분율로 표현할때 다음과 같은 조성으로 필수적으로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 변형점이 650℃이상이고 0-300℃의 온도범위에서 열팽창 선형계수가 32-46×10-7/℃이며, 5중량%의 HCl 수용액에서 24시간 침지한 다음의 중량손실이 2㎎/㎠이하인 유리.SiO264-70 Y2O30-5Al2O39.5-14 MgO 0-5B2O35-10 CaO 3-13TiO20-5 SrO 0-5.5Ta2O50-5 BaO 2-7Nb2O50-5 Mgo+CaO+SrO+BaO 10-20
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 유리의 액화온도가 1200℃이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 액화온도에서의 유리의 점도가 20,000Pa·s(200,000포이즈)이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유리는 1675℃이하의 온도에서 약 20Pa·s(200포이즈)의 용융 점도를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유리의 열팽창계수가 32-40×10+7/℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유리는 다음의 조성으로 필수적으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.SiO265-69 Y2O30-3Al2O310-12 MgO 1-5B2O37-10 CaO 3-9TiO20-3 SrO 1-3Ta2O50-3 BaO 2-5Nb2O50-3 Mgo+CaO+SrO+BaO 11-16여기서 Al2O3:B2O3〉1이다.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 유리의 액화온도가 1125℃이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 액화온도에 있어서의 유리의 점도가 60,000Pa·s(600,000포이즈)이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 유리.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항중 어느 한 항에 따른 유리를 평평한 판넬 디스플레이 장치용 기판으로 사용하는 방법.
- "칩-온-유리(chip-on-glass)"기술을 이용하여 실리콘 칩을 유리상에 직접 고정시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 제 5 항 또는 제 6 항에 따른 유리를 평평한 판넬 디스플레이 장치용 기판으로 사용하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
