Abstract

커넥터(예, 11)들을 인쇄 회로 기판(10)에 장착하는 방법 및 장치가 설명된다. 기판상에 있는 구멍(30)들을 통하여 스프링 장착 핀(40)들을 삽입함으로써, 회로 기판이 커넥터와 정렬된다. 그런다음 핀들을 수용하고 있는 동일 구멍들을 통하여 커넥터 하우징상의 페그들을 삽입함으로써, 커넥터들이 장착된다. 핀들은, 정렬이 유지되면서 페그들이 그안에 삽입됨에 따라 구멍들로부터 제거된다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따라 조립될 수 있는 회로 팩과 커넥터의 분해 사시도.
제2도는 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 장치의 측면도.
제3도 내지 제5도는 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따라 그위에 커넥터를 장착하는 다양한 단계를 도시한, 제1도에 도시된 회로 팩을 3-3선을 따라 취한 단면도들.
제6도 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따라 정렬 메카니즘을 도시한 제2도 장치의 주요부 정면도.

Claims (8)

  1. 하우징(21)과 하우징으로부터 연장된 다수의 단자 도선(22)들을 포함하는 커넥터 (11)를, 상응하는 단자 도선들을 삽입하기 위한 구멍들의 배열(17 내지 20)을 포함하는 인쇄 회로 기판에 장착하는 커넥터 장착 방법에 있어서; 상기 커넥터 하우징의 일부분(33)을 스프링 장착 핀(40)과 정렬시키는 단계와; 하나 이상이 장착 구멍(30)을 구비한 상기 기판을 공급하는 단계와, 상기 커넥터 하우징의 상기 부분과 정렬된 상기 스프링 장착 핀(40)이 상기 장착 구멍을 통하여 삽입되도록 상기 기판은 설치하는 단계와; 상기 커넥터 하우징의 상기 부분(33)이 상기 장착 구멍안으로 삽입되는 동안 상기 핀이 상기 장착 구멍으로부터 제거되는 단계를 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 장착 구멍안에 삽입된 상기 하우징의 상기 부분이 상기 커넥터 하우징의 본체의 한 부분으로부터 연장된 페그(33)인 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스프링 장착 핀(40)이, 상기 단자 도선(22)들이 상기 구멍들의 배열(17내지 20)안으로 삽입될 때까지 상기 장착 구멍(30)의 최소한 한 부분안에 남아있는 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 회로 기판이, 그 위에 장착된 반도체 콤포넌트 (13, 14)를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 방법.
  5. 하우징(21)과 하우징으로부터 연장된 다수의 단자 도선(22)들을 포함하는 커넥터(11)를, 하나 이상의 장착구멍(30)과 상응하는 단자 도선들을 삽입하기 위한 구멍들의 배열(17 내지 20)을 구비한 인쇄 회로 기판(10)에 장착하는 커넥터 장착 장치에 있어서 ; 상기 장착 구멍(30)을 통하여 삽입하기 위한 스프링 장착 핀(40)을 포함하는 상기 기판 수용 수단 (43,44,45)과; 상기 기판위에 상기 커넥터를 고정하기 위한 커넥터 고정 수단(47)과: 상기 스프링 장착 핀에 상기 커넥터 하우징의 일부분(33)을 정렬시키는 커넥터 정렬 수단(60 내지 66)과; 상기 커넥터 하우징의 상기 부분에 상기 도선을 정렬하는 수단(73)과; 상기 커넥터 하우징의 상기 부분이 상기 장착 구멍(30) 안에 삽입되고 상기 핀(40)을 상기 장착 구멍으로부터 제거하도록 커넥터를 움직이는 커넥터 이동 수단(48 내지 53)을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 기판 수용 수단이, 다양한 치수의 기판을 수용하도록 조정가능한 지지대(45)를 구비한 압입 베드(43)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 커넥터 고정 및 이동 수단이, 상기 구멍 안에 삽입하기 위하여 커넥터의 수직 운동을 제공하는 공기 구동 실린더(48)에 의해 구동되는 아암(47)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 아암(47)이 압입 프레임(55)상에 회전가능하게 장착되어 상기 커넥터가 상기 기판으로부터 떨어진 위치에서 상기 아암상에 장착될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 커넥터 장착 장치.
