Abstract
본 발명은 고온에서 분자량 유지율이 매우 높기 때문에 열에 의한 물성의 열화가 거의 없는 말레이미드-기본코폴리머를 제공한다. 또한, 본 발명은 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 필요 이상으로 가열하지 않도록 하여 소량의 잔류 휘발성분만을 갖는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 물성의 열화없이 효과적으로 얻을 수 있는 제조방법을 제공한다.
말레이미드-기본 코폴리머는 170℃ 또는 그 이상의 유리전이 온도, 100,000~500,000의 무게평균 분자량을 가지며 280℃에서 10분간 가열했을때 분자량 유지율이 90% 또는 그 이상이다.
이런 코폴리머를 제조할때, 휘발성분은 상기 폴리머와 휘발성분을 포함하는 폴리머 조성물을 벤트형 스크류압출기에 공급하고 이 압출기를 50-150rpm의 스크류회전수 조건하에서 작동하여 분리한다.

제1도는 본 발명의 제조 방법의 실시예 사용되는 벤트형(vent-type) 스크류 압출기의 한 실시예를 보여주는 개략도.
제2도는 실시예 1에서 얻은 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머(a-1)의 가열시 무게평균 분자량(Mw)의 변화곡선(a-l)(점선으로 표시) 뿐만 아니라 제조실시예 1에서 얻은 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머 조성물(A)에 포함된 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 가열시 무게평균 분자량(Mw)의 변화곡선(A)(실선으로 표시)을 나타내는 그래프.
Claims (13)
- 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머에 있어서, 유리전이온도가 170℃ 또는 그 이상이고, 무게 평균 분자량은 100,000∼500,000 범위이며,280℃에서 10분간 가열했을때 분자량 유지율이 90% 또는 그 이상인 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머.
- 제1항에 있어서, 휘발성분의 양이 2000ppm 이하인 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머.
- 제2항에 이서서, 상기 휘발성분의 양은 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 녹이고 기체 크로마토그래프로 휘발성분을 정량적으로 측정한 것인 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필수성분으로서 말레이미드-기본 모노머 단위와 지방족 비닐-기본 모노머 단위를 갖는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머.
- 유리전이온도가 170℃ 또는 그 이상인 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머와 휘발성분을 갗는 폴리머 조성물을 벤트형 스크류 압출기로 처리하여 휘발성분을 제거하는 것을 포함하는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 제조방법은 스크류 회전수가 50∼150rpm의 범위인 조건하에서 압출기를 작동하는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머는 말레이미드-기본 모노머 단위와 방향족 비질-기본모너머 단위를 필수성분으로 갖는 코폴리머인 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 벤트형 스크류 압출기는 처리될 물질을 공급하기 위한 입구 뒤에 벤트를 갖고 상기 입구의 전방에 다수의 벤트를 가지며, 20∼80중량%의 휘발성분을 포함하는 폴리머 조성물이 대기압 또는 감압하에 유지되는 상기 입구로 공급되는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 폴리머 조성물은 가열되고 가압된 다음 벤트형 스크류 압출기로 공급되는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 휘발성분의 제거는 휘발성분의 양을 200ppm 이하로 감소시키는 정도로 수행되는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 휘발성분의 양은 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 녹여 휘발성분을 기체 크로마토그래피로 정량적으로 측정한 것인 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제5항 내지 제10항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 무게평균 분자량이 100,000∼500,000이고 10분동안 280℃에서 가열했을때 분자량-유지율이 90% 또는 그 이상이 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 수득하는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머와 휘발성분을 함유하는 폴리머 조성물로부터 휘발성분을 제거함에 의해 얻어지는 용융된 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 스트랜드형으로 만들기 위해 압출기로 부터 압축하는 것 ; 결과의 스트랜드를 180∼250℃의 온도 범위로 냉각하는 조건하에 절단하여 펠렛을 만드는 것 ; 및 결과의 펠렛을 상기 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 압출한 후 10분내에 150℃ 이하로 더욱 냉각하는 것을 포함하는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머를 스트랜드형으로 만들기 위해 압출기에서 압출한 코폴리머를 공기 냉각에 의해 180∼250℃ 범위의 온도로 냉각하는 말레이미드-기본 코폴리머의 제조방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
