Claims (6)

  1. 종과 횡의 배열피치가 다른 복수의 화소를 갖는 투과형의 표시패널과 상기 복수의 화소 각각에 대응하여 조명광을 집속시키는 복수의 마이크로렌즈를 기판에 형성하여 이루어진 평판 마이크로렌즈어레이를 갖춘 화상표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 마이크로렌즈가 상기 화소의 종횡의 배열피치에 의거한 화소형상에 맞추어 장원형으로 형성되어 있는 화상표시방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 장원형으로 형성되어 있는 상기 마이크로 렌즈는, 화소개구부의 형상을 커버하도록 상기 마이크로렌즈의 장축이, 상기 표시패널의 화소배열 좌표측에 대해서 비스듬하게 형성되어 있는 화상표시장치.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 마이크로렌지의 배열피치는, 상기 표시패녈의 화소피치에 대응하고, 초점거리는 상기 표시패널의 기판두께와 같은 화상표시장치.
  4. 제2항에 또는 제3항에 있어서, 확산마스크의 개구부의 반경은, 마이크로렌즈가 서로 근접하여 형성되어 있을때 확산나프론트의 반경을 r로 할때, r/rm이 1.8~3.0의 범위에 들어가도록 하는 화상표시장치.
  5. 제1항, 제2항, 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 상기 평판 마이크로렌즈 어레이는, 각 마이크로렌즈를 표시패널의 각 화소의 위치에 대응시켜, 굴절율이 표시패널의 투명기판 굴절율과 거의 같은 투명한 광학용 접착제로 붙이는 화상표시장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 접착제의 굴절율은, 마이크로렌즈의 표면 굴절율과 표시패널의 기판표면 굴절율과의 중간치인 화상표시장치.
