Abstract

굴절율의 차가 각기 0.01이상인 둘 이상의 광중합성 올리고머 또는 단량체를 함유하는 필름 형태의 조성물을 형성하고 상기 필름형 조성물에 UN광을 조사하여 수득된 광 확산판을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치용 필터. 필터가 액정 표시 장치의 광 방출면에 설치되었을 때, 액정 표시 장치 정면의 관측각은 넓어지며, 장치의 불투명한 부분으로 인한 그림자는 감소되며, 모아레 무늬는 거의 형성되지 않는다.

액정 표시 장치용 필터(FILTER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT)
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치용 필터의 한 예인 TFT 어드레싱 직시형 액정 표시 장치(TFT addressed direct vision type liquid crystal display device)의 구조를 나타내는 횡단면도이다. 제2도는 통상의 TFT 어드레싱 직시형 액정 표시 장치의 구조를 나타내는 횡단면도이다. 제4도는 칼라 필터의 평면도이다. 제5도는 액정 표시 장치용 필터를 통과하는 확산광의 각 분포 측정 방법을 나타내는 개략적인 도면이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 굴절율의 차가 각각 0.01 이상인 둘 이상의 광중합성 올리고머 또는 단량체를 함유하는 필름 형태의 조성물을 형성하고 상기 필름형 조성물에 UN 광을 조사하여 수득된 광 확산판을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 확산판이 1∼20Mm의 영역차를 갖는 굴절율 변조형인 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 UN 광이 구형 광원, 박스형 광원 및 장축 대 단축의 비가 2:1이하인 막대형 광원으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 광원으로부터 조사되는 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 확산판은 특정 범위의 입사각으로 조사된 광 빔에 대하여 30%이상의 헤이즈를 갖는 과아 확산능을 갖지만 상기 특정 범위 밖의 입사각으로 조사된 광빔에 대하여는 광 확산능을 갖지 않는 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 광 확산판이 성형 또는 막대형 광원으로부터 UN 광의 조사에 의하여 수득되는 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 광 확산판이 광 확산능을 갖는 입사각 범위에 있는 최대 헤이즈가 30∼85%인 액정 표시 장치용 필터.
