제1도는 본 발명의 실시예를 포함하는 필드-시퀀샬 칼라 디스플레이 시스템의 블록도이다.
제2a도는 제1도에 도시한 칼라 디스플레이 시스템에 사용하기 적합한 필드-시퀀샬 LCd 디스플레이 디바이스의 단면도이다.
제2b도는 제2a도에 도시한 필드-시퀀샬 LCD 디스플레이 디바이스의 평면도이다.
제3도는 제2a도 및 제2b도에 도시한 LCD 디스플레이 디바이스에 사용하기 적합한 형광램프관의 사시도이다.

Claims (24)
- 칼라 이미지 발생장치에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스를 포함하는 디스플레이 패널 수단을 포함하고, 선택적으로 제어될 수 있는 광전송 특성이 있어 칼라 이미지의 분리 성분들을 나타내는 단색 이미지들이 광관 매트릭스 내의 연속적인 광관 라인들을 순차적으로 활성화시킴으로서 형성되고; 광관 매트릭스를 통하여 빛을 공급하기 위해 교대로 스트로브되는 다수의 칼라광원을 포함하고; 광관 매트릭스 라인의 스캐닝과 공간적으로 대응하여 각 칼라광원을 활성화시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는 칼라이미지 발생장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광관 매트릭스내의 각 광관들이 액정 디바이스, 외부적으로 제어되는 광전송특성; 상기한 다수의 각 칼라광원이 독립적으로 활성화될 수 있는 다수의 별개 칼라광원을 포함하고; 다수의 칼라광원중의 하나의 별개인 칼라광원이 다수의 칼라광원들중의 다른 하나의 별개인 칼라광원과 공간적으로 인터리브되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기한 각기 별개인 칼라광원이 긴 치수 및 짧은 치수를 가지는 중공반투명 형태를 포함하는 형광램프이고, 상기 형태는 피복되지 않은 긴 치수에 평행한 스트라이프를 제외한 색광을 반하는 형광물질로 피복되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 개별적인 각 칼라광원이 피복되지 않은 긴치수에 평행한 스트라이프를 제외한 형광물질로 피복된 형광램프인 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기한 액정 디바이스가 4마이크로미터 이하의 틈새로 이격된 제1및 제2제어전극 사이에 드위치된 트위스티드 네마틱 액정물질을 포함하는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 광관의 광전송특성이 대응 박막 트랜지스터에 의해 제어되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 칼라 이미지 발생장치에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스를 포함하는 디스플레이 패널수단을 포함하고, 별개로 제어될 수 있는 광전송 특성이 있어, 칼라 이미지의 분리된 요소를 나타내는 칼라 이미지들이 광관 매트릭스를 활성화시킴으로써 형성되고; 광관 매트릭스를 통해 빛을 전송하기 위해 상기한 광관 매트릭스상의 단색 이미지의 형성과 동기되어 교대로 스트로브되도록 구성된 다수의 칼라광원을 포함하여, 다수의 각 칼라광원에는 분리 동작 가능한 다수의 칼라광원을 포함하고 다수의 칼라광원의 분리동작 가능한 단색광원이 광관 매트릭스를 위한 조명을 공급하기위해 인터리브된 칼라 이미지 밭생장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스내의 광관들이 행과 열로 배열되어 있고 상기 매트릭스내의 광관의 연속된 행을 활성화시킴으로서 단색이미지가 형성되고; 매트릭스내의 광관의 연속된 행들의 활성화와 동기되어 다수의 각 칼라광원의 분리동작 가능한 연속된 단색광원들을 활성화시키기 위한 수단을 추가로 포함하는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 개별된 각 칼라광원이 긴치수 및 짧은 치수를 가지는 중공 반투명 형태를 포함하는 형광램프이고, 상기한 형태는 피복되지 않은 긴치수에 평행한 스트라이프를 제외한 색광을 방사가는 형광물질로 피복되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 개별적인 각 칼라광원이 피복되지 않은 긴치수에 평행한 스트라이프를 제외한 형광물질로 피복된 형광램프인 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스내의 각 광관들은 액정 디바이스이고, 외부적으로 제어가능한 광전송 특성을 포함하여; 상기한 각 액정 디바이스들은 4마이크로미터 이하의 틈새로 이격된 제1및 제2제어전극 사이에 샌드위치된 트위스트네마틱 액정물질을 포함하는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 광관의 광전송 특성이 대응 박막 트랜지스터에 의해 제어되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 칼라 이미지 발생장치에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스를 포함하는 이미지 형성 구역을 포함하고 개별적으로 제어될 수있는 광전송 특성을 포함하고 주어진 색광을 가지는 구역을 형성하는 이미지의 제1부분을 조명하기위한 제1후광수단을 포함하고, 제2색광을 가지는 이미지 형성 구역의 제2부분을 동시에 조명하기위한 제2후광수단을 포함하는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제13항에 있어서, 관광 매트릭스내의 광관이 행과 열로 배열되고, 상기한 이미지는 상기한 매트릭스내의 광관의 연속된 행들을 활성화시킴으로써 형성되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 칼라 이미지 발생장치에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스를 포함하는 디스플레이 패널수단을 포함하고, 선택적으로 제어될 수 있는 광전송 특성을 포함하여; 칼라 이미지의 분리된 성분을 나타내는 단색 이미지가 광관 매트릭스내의 광관의 연속선을 순차적으로 활성화시킴으로써 형성되고; 칼라 이미지의 성분에 대응하는 광관 매트릭스의 부분을 통하여 전송하기위한 광을 공급하도록 스트로브되는 다수의 칼라광원을 포함하고; 광관 매트릭스의 선들을 스캐닝과 공간적으로 대응하여 각 칼라광원을 활성화시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.
- 제15항에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스내의 각 광관들이 액정 디바이스이고, 외부적으로 제어되는 광전송 특성을 가지며; 다수의 각 칼라광원이 독립적으로 활성화될 수 있는 별개인 다수의 칼라광원을 포함하고; 다수의 칼라광원중에 각기 하나의 별개 칼라광원은 다수의 칼라광원중의 다른 하나의 별개 칼라광원과 공간적으로 인터리브되는 칼라 이미지 발생장치.

- 칼라 이미지 발생방법에 있어서, 디스플레이 패널수단내에 광관 매트릭스의 광전송 특성을 선택적으로 제어하여 칼라 이미지 분리성분을 나타내는 단색 이미지가 광관 매트릭스내의 광관의 연속선을 순차로 활성화 시킴으로써 형성되고; 광관 매트릭스를 통하여 광전송을 공급하기 위하여 다수의 칼라광원을 스트로빙하고; 광관 매트릭스선의 스캐닝과 공간적으로 사응하여 각 칼라광원을 활성화하는 칼라 이미지 발생방법.
- 제21항에 있어서, 광관 매트릭스내의 각 광관이 액정 디바이스이고, 광전송 특성이 외부적으로 제어되고; 다수의 각 칼라광원이 독립적으로 활성화될 수 있는 별개인 다수의 각 칼라광원을 포함하고; 다수의 칼라광원층에 각기 하나의 별개인 칼라광원들이 나머지 다른 별개의 칼라광원과 함께 공간적으로 인터리브되는 칼라 이미지 발생방법.
- 제22항에 있어서, 다수의 칼라광원이 광관 매트릭스상의 단색 이미지의 형성과 동기하여 교대로 스트로브되도록 구성되는 칼라 이미지 발생방법.
