Claims (5)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 클로로벤젠 유도체 :
    상기식에서 R1은 하나 또는 두개의 비인접 CH2- 그룹이 또한 -0-, -0- CO-, -CO-0- 및/또는 -CH=CH-로 치환될 수도 있는, 탄소원자 12개 이하를 갖는 알킬 잔기를 나타낸다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R1이 탄소원자 2 내지 7개를 갖는 직쇄 알킬 잔기를 나타내는 클로로 벤젠 유도체.
  3. 적어도 하나의 화합물이 제1항에 따른 클로로벤젠 유도체임을 특징으로 하는, 적어도 2개의 화합물의 혼합물인 액정 매질.
  4. 제3항에 따른 액정 매질을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
  5. 제3항에 따른 액정 매질을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 전광 표시 장치.
