Claims (8)

  1. 하기 일반식(I)의 플루오로-클로로-벤젠 유도체:
    상기 식에서 R은 12개 까지의 탄소원자를 갖는 알킬 잔기를 나타내는데, 여기서 1 또는 2개의 인접하지 않은 CH2기가 -O- 및/또는 -HC=CH-로 치환될 수도 있고; Q는
    또는 단일결합이고; m은 0 또는 1이며; 상기 분자에 존재하는 라디칼 L1및 L2중 하나가 F이고 다른 라디칼이 있는 경우 그 라디칼은 수소이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ia)의 벤젠 유도체:
    상기 식에서, R은 제1항에서 정의한 바와같은 의미를 갖는다.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ib)의 벤젠 유도체:
    상기 식에서, R은 제1항에서 정의한 바와 같은 의미를 갖는다.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ic)의 벤젠 유도체:

  7. 제6항에 따르는 액정 매질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 장치.
