제1도는 요오드화물-촉진 모듐으로 촉매되는, 메탄올의 아세트산으로의 카르보닐화를 위해 사용될 수 있는 대표적인 반응 및 아세트산 회수 시스템이다. 제2도는 본 발명의 방법을 나타낸다.
Claims (4)
- 메탄올, 디메틸 에테르, 또는 아세트산 메틸로 구성되는 군중 하나 이상의 화합물을 아세트산으로 카르보닐화하는 방법으로서, 이때, (1) 상기의 메탄올, 디메틸 에테르, 또는 아세트산 메틸은 Ⅷ족 금속 카르보닐화 촉매 및 요오드화 메틸을 함유하는 반응매질에서 카르보닐화시키고, (2) 상기 카르보닐화의 생성물을 아세트산, 미반응된 디메틸 에테르 또는 아세트산 메틸, 요오드화 메틸, 알칸 및 카르보닐 불순물을 함유하는 휘발상 및, 상기 Ⅷ족 금속 촉매를 포함하는 덜 휘발상으로 분리시키고, (3) 상기 휘발상을 증류시켜 아세트산 및, 미반응 메탄올, 디메틸 에테르 또는 아세트산 메틸, 요오드화 메틸, 알칸 및 카르보닐 불순물을 함유하는 오버헤드를 얻고, (4) 부가적으로 상기 오버헤드를 보다 휘발성인 성분과 덜 휘발성인 성분으로 분리하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 휘발성 성분을 환류컬럼에서 환류시킴으로써 상기 분리를 수행하고, (b) 상기 환류컬럼에서 환류비 약 0.5 내지 약 5를 제공하고, (c) 부가적인 처리를 위해 휘발성 부분을 제거하고, (d) 물의 첨가에 의해서 잔류물을 두 층으로 분리하고, (e) 수성층을 반응기로 재순환시킴을 개선점으로하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 부가되는 물은 아세트산 정제의 건조컬럼으로부터 제거된 물로서 얻는 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 건조컬럼으로부터의 물은 부가적으로 첨가되는 물로서 사용되기 전에 그로부터 유기성분을 스트리핑하여 정제되는 방법.
