Claims (13)

  1. 촉매조성물의 전체중량에 대하여 약 4 내지 17중량%의 구리염, 약 0.25 내지 약 2.3중량%의 알칼리금속염 및 약 0.2 내지 약 15중량%의 희토류금속염으로 구성되고 모든 금속은 유동형 고표면적 알루미나 지지체상에 공-증착되고 희토류금속염 대 알칼리금속염의 중량비가 적어도 0.8 : 1임을 특징으로 하는 촉매 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 금속이 감마 알루미나 지지체에 공-증착됨을 특징으로 하는 촉매 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매조성물의 전체중량에 대하여 알칼리금속염이 약 0.5 내지 약 2.0중량%이고, 희토류금속염이 약 1 내지 약 10중량%이고, 구리염이 염화구리로서 약 8 내지 12중량% 존재하고, 희토류금속염 대 알칼리금속염의 중량비가 약 1 : 1 내지 약 30 : 1임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨, 리튬, 나트륨, 루비듐 및 세슘으로 구성된 군에서 ; 희토류금속이 란타늄, 세륨, 네오디뮴, 프라에세오디뮴 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군에서 적어도 하나 이상으로 선택함을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨이고 희토류금속이 세륨임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨이고 희토류금속이 실질적으로 세륨, 란타늄, 네오디뮴, 및 프라에세오디뮴의 혼합물임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨이고, 희토류금속이 네오디뮴임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  8. 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨이고, 희토류금속이 란타늄임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  9. 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리금속이 칼륨이고, 희토류금속이 프라에세오디뮴임을 특징으로 하는 촉매조성물.
  10. (a) 매 2.0몰의 HCl에 대하여 약 1.0몰 내지 약 1.1몰의 에틸렌과 약 0.5몰 내지 약 0.9몰의 산소를 (b) 촉매조성물 전체중량에 대하여 약 4 내지 17중량%의 구리염, 약 0.25 내지 약 2.3중량%의 알칼리금속염 및 약 0.2 내지 약 15중량%의 희토류금속염을 희토류금속염 대 알칼리금속염의 중량비가 적어도 0.8 : 1로 고표면적의 알루미나 지지체상에 공-증착된 고표면적의 알루미나 지지체로 구성되는 촉매조성물의 존재하에서 (c) 약 190 내지 약 250℃에서, 약 대기압 내지 약 70psig의 압력으로, 약 10초 내지 약 50초의 접촉시간으로 반응시킴으로 특징으로 하는 1,2-디클로로에탄을 제조하기 위한 옥시클로르화방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 촉매조성물이 약 8 내지 약 12중량%의 염화구리, 약 0.5 내지 약 2.0중량%의 염화칼륨, 및 약 1 내지 약 10중량%의 세륨 염화물을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 촉매조성물이 약 8 내지 약 12중량%의 염화구리, 약 0.5 내지 약 2.0중량% 염화칼륨 및 약 1 내지 약 10중량%의 실질적으로 세륨, 란타늄, 네오디뮴 및 프라에세오디뮴의 희토류금속염화물의 혼합물을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제10항에 있어서, 반응온도가 약 220℃ 내지 약 240℃이고, 접촉시간이 약 25초 내지 약 35초이고, 촉매조성물이 염화제2구리, 염화칼륨 및 세륨 염화물을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
