Claims (12)

  1. 우라늄헥사플로라이드를 먼저 건조증기와 반응시킨 다음 증기 또는 더 높은 온도에서 수소와 반응시키는 가스상 공정에서 생산된 분말을 팩킹(packing) 밀도를 증가시키도록 강하게 기계적으로 분쇄하며, 상기 처리된 분말을 한정된 량의 결합제와 혼합하여 자유로이 유동하는 입자들을 생산하고 이산화우라늄을 포함하는 펠렛트로 형성하며, 그 펠레트를 소결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 결합제와 혼합된 처리된 분말은 펠렛트로 형성되기 전에 전마(轉摩)함으로써 구상화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 펠렛트는 다이(die) 윤활제 없이 프레싱하여 형성되는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  4. 전기한 어느 항에 있어서, 이산화우라늄 분말은 밀링(milling)에 의해 기계적으로 분쇄되는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  5. 전기한 어느 항에 있어서, 한정된 량의 결합제는 펠렛트의 분말 중량에 대한 건조한 결합제의 중량이 0.5% 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  6. 전기한 어느 항에 있어서, 결합제는 고무 및 합성수지 형태의 강한 점착성이 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  7. 전기한 어느 항에 있어서, 펠렛트는 기공형성 첨가제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  8. 전기한 어느 항에 있어서, 이산화플루토늄이 처음의 이산화우라늄 분말과 혼합된 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  9. 제1항에서 8항까지의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 펠렛트는 중간의 어떠한 분리 노(爐)처리 없이 소결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  10. 제1항에서 9항까지는 어느 한항에 있어서, 분말을 분쇄한 다음, 분말 입자들을 결합제와 혼합하여 혼합물을 만들고, 건조시킨 다음, 펠렛트로 프레싱할 조대입자로 만드는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 조대입자들을 펠렛트로 프레스하기 전에 전마하여 구상화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
  12. 제1항에서 11항까지의 항들 중 어느 한항에 있어서, 분말 입자의 구조를 미결정으로 붕괴시키기에 충분한 시간동안 분말을 기계적으로 강렬하게 분쇄하는 것을 특징으로 하는 핵연료 펠렛트 제조방법.
