제6도는 본 발명에 따른 압축 전후의 여러가지 제조 방법에 있어서 용적의 기능으로서 내압축성의 정도를 나타내는 그래프.
제7도는 펠트 두께의 기능으로서 내압축성의 증가를 나타내는 그래프.

Claims (14)

  1. 펠트는 가스류에 의해 운반된 섬유를 리시빙부재상에 적층함으로써 형성되며, 이 리시빙부재는 가스에 침투성이 있고 또한 섬유를 보유하며, 결함제 조성물은 리시빙 부재상에 있는 섬유에 처리되며, 두께방향으로 압축된 후 형성된 펠트는 열처리함으로써 결합제 조성물을 가교 결합시켜 펠트 구조로 고착시키는 글래스 재료의 섬유로부터 펠트를 연속 성형하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 펠트는 상기 리시빙 부재상의 섬유형성공정과 열처리공정 사이에 적어도 하나의 종방향 압축공정으로 처리되며, 압축율 다시 말하면 압축전후의 단위 표면적당 섬유질량의 비는 형성된 주름이 펠트 표면에 영향을 미치는 것보다 적은 값으로 제한되는 것을 특징으로 한 펠트의 연속성형 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 펠트의 종방향 압축을 적어도 2단계 연속공정으로 수행하는 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 모든 종방향 압축공정에서의 종방향 압축율이 15이하인 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 별도로 수행하는 각각의 압축 공정에서의 압축율이 10이상인 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 종방향 압축 이전에 처리된 펠트가 10kg/cu.m 이상의 용적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 종방향 압축 이전에 처리된 펠트가 60kg/cu.m 이하의 용적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  7. 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 종방향 압축 이전의 펠트가 0.75kg/sq.m 정도의 단위 표면적당 질량을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  8. 제2항 내지 제7항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 2개의 종방향 압축 연속 공정을 포함하고, 이들 두공정의 압축율이 거의 동일한 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 펠트의 섬유평균 직경이 10μ이상이고, 종방향 압축율이 각 공정에서 5이하인 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 종방향 압축 공정이후, 두께 방향의 압축을 열처리 이전에 수행함으로써 펠트의 용적이 30 내지 200kg/cu.m가 되는 것을 특징으로 한 방법.
  11. 다른 한쪽 연장부에 위치한 적어도 두쌍의 컨베이어(7,8과 9,10)를 포함하고, 펠트를 각쌍의 컨베이어 사이에 통과시키고, 동일한 쌍의 두 컨베이어를 분리하는 간격은 펠트의 양표면을 지지하도록 조절하고, 컨베이어 쌍의 속도는 한쌍(7,8)에서 다른 쌍(9,10)까지의 적어도 하나의 통과 지역에서 펠트의 속도가 감소하도록 조절하는 것을 특징으로 한 제1항 내지 제1항중의 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 수행하는 장치.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 펠트성형 영역과 열처리 영역 사이에 적어도 3쌍의 컨베이어(7,8,9,10,11,12)를 포함하고, 제1쌍(7,8)은 펠트를 두께 방향으로 압축하며, 컨베이어의 제1쌍(7,8)에서 제2쌍(9,10) 사이에서 제1종방향 압축을 수행하며, 컨베이어의 제2쌍(9,10)에서 제3쌍(11,12)사이에서 펠트의 제2종 방향 압축을 수행하는 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 컨베이어의 제2쌍(9,10)은 펠트의 압축을 그의 두께 방향으로 수행하는 장치.
  14. 제11항 내지 제13항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 열처리하는 오븐(13)내의 입구에 압축된 펠트를 지지하기 위하여 활주로(26,27)을 컨베이어의 제1쌍(11,12)의 연장부에 제공하는 장치.
