성형품 및 필름이 전자기선 조사, 예를 들어, 레이저 조사를 이용하여 서로 용착될 수 있다는 것이 이미 알려져 있다 (DE 195 42 328 A1; DE 199 16 786 A1; WO 02/055287). 구조물 연결부는 이로써 얻어진다. 이러한 방식으로 표면을 장식하는 방법은 현재까지 알려져 있지 않다.
표면의 장식은 다양한 목적을 수행할 수 있다:
a) 급속 프로토타이핑(prototyping) 또는 급속 제조에 의해 생산된 성형품의 표면은 종종 거칠고, 심미적인 측면에서 별로 아름답지 않다.

EP 0 568 988 A1은 표면 내성 성분이, 보호층인 필름과 열가소성 용융물의 몰드내(in-mould) 사출 성형에 의해 생산될 수 있음을 개시하였다. 여기서, 필름은 성형품 생산시, 성형품에 이미 연결되었다. 이 방법은 급속 프로토타이핑 또는 급속 제조에 의해 생산된 성형품에는 적합하지 않다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 예를 들어 사출 성형을 이용하여 생산될 수 없는 성형품을 장식할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 또는 변화하는 장식 요소를 적용하거나 규모가 적은 시리즈를 생산할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 제1 단계에서 생산된 성형품의 경우 그후 표면을 장식하기 위한 가능성을 개발하는 것이다.
이러한 목적은,
a) 성형품을 제공하고,
b) 전자기선 조사를 일으켜 성형품 표면의 적어도 일부를 장식 필름에 용착시키는, 표면이 장식된 성형품의 제조 방법에 의해 달성되었다.
본 발명에 따른 방법을 이용하여, 폴리올레핀 표면, 예를 들어, 병에 전처리 없이 필름을 예를 들어 라벨의 형태로 제공할 수 있다. 엠블럼 또는 보호 필름의 적용은 표면 장식 또는 안전성 관련 구성 요소의 명기 또는 표시, 또는 출처 또는 보장의 증거 또는 안전성 정보의 적용과 마찬가지로 가능하다. 이 방법을 이용하여 비교적 적은 양도 쉽고 신뢰성있게 제조할 수 있다.
한 가능한 실시태양에서, 성형품은 급속 프로토타이핑 또는 급속 제조에 의해 생산된다. 여기서, 필름은 부품에 평편한 표면을 제공하기 위해 그 위에 용착 된다. 또한, 필름은 추가적인 장식적 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 용어 "신속 프로토타이핑" 및 "신속 제조"란 각 미분(微粉)층의 영역들을 선택적으로 용융시키고, 냉각한 후 고화시키는, 한층씩(layer by layer) 작업하는 몰드리스(mouldless)법 (즉, 미리 제작된 주형을 이용하지 않는 방법)을 의미한다. 이러한 방법의 예에는, 선택적 레이저 소결 (US 6,136,948; WO 96/06881), WO 01/38061에 기재된 SIV법, 또는 EP-A-1 015 214로부터 명백한 방법이 있다. 마지막에 언급한 두 방법은 분말을 용융시키기 위한 적외선 패널 가열을 이용하여 실행한다. 용융의 선택성은 첫번째 방법에서는 억제제의 적용에 의해, 두번째 방법에서는 마스크를 이용하여 달성된다. 추가적인 방법은 DE-A-103 11 438에 기재되어 있는데, 여기서, 용융에 필요한 에너지는 마이크로파 생성기에 의해 도입되었고, 선택성은 서셉터(susceptor)의 적용에 의해 달성되었다. 추가적인 적합한 방법들은 분말 중에 존재하거나 잉크젯 법에 의해 적용되는 흡수제(absorber)를 이용하여 실행하는, 독일 특허 출원 DE 10 2004 012 682.8, DE 10 2004 012 683.6 및 DE 10 2004 020 452.7에 기재된 바와 같은 것들이다. 전자기 에너지의 작용을 위해 넓은 레이저 대역폭을 사용할 수 있지만, 구역에 걸친 전자기 에너지의 작용도 적합하다.
이들 방법을 위해 사용되는 분말은 몰딩재를, 바람직하게는 저온에서 밀링하여 제조될 수 있다. 밀링된 물질은 그후, 조질(coarse) 입자 또는 극미세 입자를 제거하기 위하여 분획화된다. 예를 들어, 입자를 둥글게 하기 위한 고속 혼합기에서의 기계적 후처리도 그후 수행될 수 있다. 이렇게 얻은 분말을 종래기술에 따라 유동성 개선제, 예를 들어, 발열성 실리카로 처리하는 것이 바람직하며, 이는 건식 혼합에 의해 혼입시킨다. 바람직하게, 이렇게 얻은 분말의 수평균 입자 직경은 40 내지 120 ㎛이고, BET 표면적은 10 ㎡/g 미만이다.

마지막으로, 추가적인 가능한 실시태양에서, 필름은 예를 들어, 내스크라치성, 풍화에 대한 내성, 화학 물질에 대한 내성 또는 응력 균열에 대한 내성이 충분하지 않기 때문에, 사용 조건 하에서 사용 흔적이 생기는 표면에 적용된다. 적합한 필름재는 공지되어 있으며, 그 예는 하기에 추가로 기술한다.
본 발명에 따라 사용되는 성형품은 통상적으로 열가소성 중합체로 이루어지지만, 세라믹, 천연 재료, 예컨대, 목재 또는 가죽, 열경화성 플라스틱 또는 금속으로 형성될 수도 있다. 또한 이들은 다성분 조성, 예를 들어, 다층 조성을 가질 수 있다.

적합한 폴리카르보네이트는 그 자체로 공지되어 있으며, 예를 들어, DE-B-13 00 266에 따른 계면 축중합에 의해, 또는 DE-A-14 95 730에 따른 비페닐 카르보네이트와 비스페놀의 반응에 의해 얻을 수 있다. 바람직한 비스페놀은 일반적으로 비스페놀 A로 지칭되는 2,2-디(4-히드록시페닐)프로판이다. 적합한 폴리카르보네이트는 예를 들어, 상품명 렉산(Lexan)® (네덜란드, 게에 플라스틱스 베.페. (GE Plastics B.V.))으로 상업적으로 입수가능하다.

적합한 폴리올레핀은 주로 폴리에틸렌 및 폴리프로필렌, 및 에틸렌 또는 프로필렌을 기재로 하고 원하는 경우 고급 α-올레핀을 포함하는 공중합체이다. 또한, 폴리올레핀은 에틸렌-프로필렌 엘라스토머 및 에틸렌-프로필렌 삼원중합체를 의미하는 것으로 이해되어야 한다.

디아민으로서, 탄소원자수 6 내지 12, 특히 6 내지 8인 알칸디아민, 및 m-크실릴렌디아민, 디-(4-아미노페닐)메탄, 디-(4-아미노시클로헥실)메탄, 2,2-디-(4-아미노페닐)프로판 또는 2,2-디-(4-아미노시클로헥실)프로판이 특히 적합하다.
바람직한 폴리아미드는 폴리헥사메틸렌아디프아미드 (PA 66), 폴리헥사메틸 렌세박아미드 (PA 610), 폴리헥사메틸렌데칸디카르복스아미드 (PA 612), 폴리카프로락탐 (PA 6), 코폴리아미드 6/66, 특히, 카프로락탐 단위의 비율이 5 내지 95 중량%인 코폴리아미드 6/66, 및 폴리라우로락탐 (PA 12) 및 PA 11, 그리고 카프로락탐, 테레프탈산 및 헥사메틸렌디아민을 기재로 하거나 또는 테레프탈산, 아디프산 및 헥사메틸렌 디아민을 기재로 하는 코폴리아미드이다.

스티렌, 클로로스티렌, α-메틸스티렌 및 p-메틸스티렌의 비닐방향족 (공)중합체를 여기서 전형적인 것으로 언급할 수 있고, 공단량체, 예컨대, (메트)아크릴로니트릴 또는 (메트)아크릴레이트 또한 낮은 비율 (바람직하게는 30 중량% 이하, 특히 8 중량% 이하)로, 조성의 일부일 수 있다. 특히 바람직한 비닐방향족 (공)중합체는 폴리스티렌, 스티렌-아크릴로니트릴 공중합체 (SAN) 및 충격-개질된 폴리스티렌 (HIPS = 고충격 폴리스티렌)이다. 물론, 이들 중합체의 혼합물도 사용할 수 있다. 폴리아릴렌 에테르 술폰 또는 케톤의 합성을 위한 바람직한 공정 조건은 예를 들어, EP-A 0 113 112 및 EP-A 0 135 130에 기재되어 있다. 적합한 폴리페닐렌 에테르 술폰은 예를 들어, 상품명 울트라손(Untrason)® (바스프 아게)로 상업적으로 입수가능하며, 적합한 폴리페닐렌 에테르 케톤은 상품명 베스타킵(VESTAKEEP)® (데구사 게엠베하 (Degussa GmbH)) 하에서 상업적으로 입수가능하다.
또한, 폴리우레탄, 폴리이소시아네이트 및 폴리우레아는 성형된 플라스틱 물품의 생산에 적합한 물질이다. 가요성이고, 반-강성 또는 강성이며, 열가소성 또는 가교결합된 폴리이소시아네이트 다중부가물(polyadduct), 예를 들어, 폴리우레탄, 폴리이소시아네이트 및/또는 폴리우레아가 일반적으로 알려져 있다. 이들의 제조 방법은 널리 설명되어 있으며, 통상적으로 이소시아네이트와 이소시아네이트에 대해 반응성인 화합물의 일반적으로 공지된 조건 하에서의 반응에 의해 수행된다. 반응은 바람직하게는 촉매 및/또는 보조제의 존재 하에서 실시된다.

폴리락티드, 즉, 락트산의 중합체는 그 자체로 공지되어 있으며, 그 자체로 공지된 방법에 의해 제조될 수 있다.
폴리락티드 외에도, 락트산 및 추가적인 단량체를 기재로 하는 공중합체 또는 블록 공중합체도 사용할 수 있다. 일반적으로, 직쇄 폴리락티드를 사용한다. 그러나, 분지쇄 락트산 중합체도 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 다관능성 산 또는 알콜이 분지화제로 작용할 수 있다.
예를 들어, 염화비닐 중합체, 특히, 폴리비닐 클로라이드 (PVC), 예컨대, 강성 PVC 및 가요성 PVC, 및 염화비닐의 공중합체, 예컨대, PVC-U 몰딩재를 적합한 할로겐-함유 중합체로 언급할 수 있다. 또한, 불소-함유 중합체, 특히, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌 (PTFE), 테트라플루오로에틸렌-퍼플루오로프로필렌 공중합체 (FEP), 테트라플루오로에틸렌과 퍼플루오로알킬 비닐 에테르의 공중합체, 에틸렌-테트라플루오로에틸렌 공중합체 (ETFE), 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드 (PVDF), 폴리비닐 플루오라이드 (PVF), 폴리클로로트리플루오로에틸렌 (PCTFE) 및 에틸렌-클로로트리플루오로에틸렌 공중합체 (ECTFE)가 적합하다.
이미도 기를 함유하는 중합체는 특히 폴리이미드, 폴리에테르이미드 및 폴리아미도이미드이다.
적합한 셀룰로스 에테르는 예를 들어, 셀룰로스 아세테이트, 셀룰로스 아세토부티레이트 및 셀룰로스 프로피오네이트이다.
또한, 실리콘 중합체도 열가소성 물질로서 적합하다. 특히, 실리콘 고무가 적합하다. 이들은 통상적으로 가교결합 반응을 할 수 있는 기를 가지는 폴리오르가노실록산이다. 이러한 중합체는 예를 들어, 문헌[Roempp Chemie Lexikon (Roempp Chemistry Lexikon), CD-ROM version 1.0, Thieme Verlag Stuttgart 1995]에 기재되어 있다.
마지막으로, 열가소성 엘라스토머 (TPE)로 구성된 화합물 부류도 사용할 수 있다. 적합한 윤활제 및 이형제는 예를 들어, 스테아르산, 스테아릴 알콜, 스테아레이트 또는 스테아로아미드, 실리콘 오일, 금속 스테아레이트, 몬탄 왁스, 및 폴리에틸렌 및 폴리프로필렌을 기재로 하는 왁스이다.
적합한 항산화제 (열 안정화제)는 예를 들어, 입체장애된 페놀, 히드로퀴논, 아릴아민, 포스파이트, 다양하게 치환된 상기 군의 구성원 및 이들의 혼합물이다.
적합한 광 안정화제는 예를 들어, 다양하게 치환된 레조시놀, 살리실레이트, 벤조트리아졸, 벤조페논 및 HALS (입체장애된 아민 광 안정화제)이다.
적합한 대전 방지제는 예를 들어, 아민 유도체, 예컨대, N,N-비스(히드록시알킬)알킬아민 또는 N,N-비스(히드록시알킬)알킬렌아민, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 에스테르 또는 글리세릴 모노- 및 디스테아레이트, 및 이들의 혼합물이다.

수산화물 또는 탄산염, 특히, 마그네슘의 수산화물 또는 탄산염 및 무기 및 유기 붕소 화합물, 예컨대, 붕산, 붕산나트륨, 산화붕소, 소듐 테트라페닐보레이트 및 트리벤질 보레이트을 기재로 한 무기 방화제, 질소-함유 방화제, 예컨대, 이미노포스포란, 멜라민 시아누레이트 및 암모늄 폴리포스페이트 및 멜라민 포스페이트가 더욱 적합하다 (상게서 [Encyclopaedia of Chemical Technology) 참조). 또한, 흘러내림 방지제 (antidrip agent), 예컨대, 테플론(Teflon) 또는 고분자량 폴리스티렌과의 혼합물도 방화제로서 적합하다.
섬유상 또는 미분 충전재 및 강화재의 예로서, 탄소 섬유, 또는 직조된 유리 직물, 유리 매트 또는 유리 조방사 형태의 유리 섬유, 컷 유리 및 유리 비드, 특히 바람직하게는 유리 섬유를 언급할 수 있다. 사용되는 유리 섬유는 E-, A- 또는 C-유리를 포함할 수 있고, 바람직하게는 도사(陶砂; size), 예를 들어, 에폭시 수지, 실란, 아미노 실란 또는 폴리우레탄을 기재로 하는 도사, 및 관능화된 실란을 기재로 하는 접착 개시제로 처리된다. 유리 섬유의 혼입은 짧은 유리 섬유의 형태 및 조방사의 형태 양자 모두로 수행될 수 있다.
예를 들어, 비정질 실리카, 단결정, 알루미나 섬유, 탄산마그네슘 (분필), 분말화된 석영, 운모, 운모, 벤토나이트, 탈크, 장석, 또는 특히 규산칼슘, 예컨대, 규회석 및 카올린이 미립자 충전재로서 적합하다.
섬유상, 미분 또는 미립자 충전재 및 강화재는 통상적으로, 성형품을 기준으로 1 내지 60 중량%, 바람직하게는 10 내지 50 중량%의 양으로 사용된다.
전자기선 조사를 이용한 용착시, 본 발명의 하기 실시태양이 가능하다:
- 첨가제의 필요 없이, 성형품 또는 필름이 사용되는 파장 범위에서 전자기선 조사를 흡수하거나, 또는
- 흡수성 첨가제의 첨가에 의해 전자기선 조사의 흡수가 일어난다.
두 가지 경우 모두에서, 2개의 부품 중 하나는 사용되는 전자기선 조사에 대해 투명한 반면, 다른 부품은 조사를 흡수한다. 모든 경우에서, 조사는 조사에 대해 투명한 부품을 통과하여 일어난다.
사용되는 필름은 단층 필름일 수 있고, 이 경우, 이는 성형품의 재료에 강하게 접착되는 물질로 구성된다. 만약, 물질의 상용성이 불충분하여, 단층 필름을 이용하여 강한 접착을 달성할 수 없는 경우에는, 하나의 필름이 성형품에 대한 접착을 위해 최적화된 2층 필름을 사용할 수 있다. 적용시 필요한 경우, 필름은 그 위로 추가적인 층들을 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들어 압출에 의한 이러한 다층 필름 의 제조는 선행기술의 일부이다.
일반적으로, 필름의 두께는 2000 ㎛ 이하, 1600 ㎛ 이하, 1200 ㎛ 이하, 1000 ㎛ 이하, 900 ㎛ 이하, 800 ㎛ 이하, 700 ㎛ 이하 또는 600 ㎛ 이하이고, 최소 두께는 10 ㎛, 15 ㎛, 20 ㎛, 25 ㎛ 또는 30 ㎛이다.
바람직한 실시태양에서, 필름 또는 그의 바깥쪽을 향하는 층은 반결정질 폴리아미드를 기재로 하는 몰딩재이다.
이러한 반결정질 폴리아미드는 어떠한 제한에도 구속되지 않는다. 본 발명에서, 지방족 호모- 및 공중합체, 예를 들어, PA46, PA66, PA88, PA610, PA612, PA810, PA1010, PA1212, PA6, PA7, PA8, PA9, PA10, PA11 및 PA12가 주로 적합하다 (폴리아미드의 특성화는 국제 표준에 해당하며, 첫번째 숫자는 출발 디아민의 탄소수를 설명하고, 마지막 숫자는 디카르복실산의 탄소수를 설명한다. 숫자 하나만 언급된 것은, 출발 물질로서 α,ω-아미노카르복실산 또는 그로부터 유도된 락탐이 사용되었음을 의미한다. 또한, 문헌[H. 코폴리아미드가 사용되는 경우, 이들은 예를 들어, 아디프산, 세박산, 수바르산, 이소프탈산, 테레프탈산, 나프탈렌-2,6-디카르복실산 등을 공동 산으로서 함유하거나, 비스(4-아미노시클로헥실)메탄, 비스(3-메틸-4-아미노시클로헥실)메탄, 트리메틸헥사메틸렌디아민, 헥사메틸렌디아민 등을 공동 디아민으로서 함유할 수 있다. 락탐, 예컨대, 카프로락탐 또는 라우로락탐, 또는 아미노카르복실산, 예컨 대, ω-아미노운데칸산도 공동 성분으로 혼입시킬 수 있다.
이러한 폴리아미드의 제조는 공지되어 있다 (예를 들어, 문헌[D. B. Jacobs, J. Zimmermann, Polymerization Processes, pages 424-467, Interscience Publishers, New York, 1977] 및 DE-B 21 52 194 참조).
또한, 예를 들어 US 4,163,101, US 4,630,166, US 4,831,108, US 5,112,685, US 5,436,294 및 US 5,447,980, 및 EP-A-0 309 095에 기재된 바와 같은 혼합된 지방족/방향족 축중합물도 적합하다. 이들은 원칙적으로, 단량체가 방향족 디카르복실산, 예컨대, 테레프탈산 및 이소프탈산, 지방족 디카르복실산, 예컨대, 아디프산, 지방족 디아민, 예컨대, 헥사메틸렌디아민, 노나메틸렌디아민, 도데카메틸렌디아민 및 2-메틸-1,5-펜탄디아민, 및 락탐 또는 ω-아미노카르복실산, 예컨대, 카프로락탐, 라우로락탐 및 ω-아미노운데칸산으로부터 선택된 축중합물이다. 축중합물 중 방향족 단량체 단위의 함량은 원칙적으로, 모든 단량체 단위의 총합을 기준으로 15% 이상, 20% 이상, 25% 이상, 30% 이상, 35% 이상, 40% 이상, 45% 이상 또는 약 50%이다. 이러한 축중합물은 흔히 "폴리프탈아미드" 또는 "PPA"로 지칭된다. 추가적인 적합한 폴리아미드는 폴리(에테르 에스테르 아미드) 또는 폴리(에테르 아미드)이고, 이러한 생성물들은 예를 들어, DE-A 25 93 991, DE-A 27 12 987 및 DE-A 30 06 961에 기재되어 있다.
반결정질 폴리아미드의 융합 엔탈피는, 2차 가열 및 용융 피크의 통합을 포함하는 ISO 11357에 따른 DSC 법에 의해 측정시, 8 J/g 이상, 바람직하게는 10 J/g 이상, 특히 바람직하게는 12 J/g 이상, 특히 바람직하게는 16 J/g 이상이다.
폴리아미드 몰딩재는 이러한 폴리아미드 중 1종 또는 복수종을 혼합물로 함유할 수 있다. 또한, 결합성(bondability)을 방해하지 않는다면, 다른 열가소성 물질, 특히, 강인화(toughening) 고무, 예컨대, 에틸렌/프로필렌 또는 에틸렌/프로필렌/디엔 공중합체, 폴리펜테닐렌, 폴리옥테닐렌, 알케닐방향족 화합물과 지방족 올레핀 또는 디엔의 랜덤 또는 블록 공중합체 (EP-A-0 261 748), 또는 유리전이온도 (Tg)가 -10℃ 미만인 (메트)아크릴레이트, 부타디엔 또는 스티렌/부타디엔 고무를 포함하는 강인성 또는 탄성 코어를 가지는 코어/쉘 고무 (코어는 가교결합될 수 있고, 쉘은 스티렌 및/또는 메틸 메타크릴레이트 및/또는 추가적인 불포화 단량체로 이루어질 수 있음) (DE-A 21 44 528, DE-A 37 28 685)이 40 중량%까지 존재할 수 있다.
폴리아미드에 대해 통상적인 보조제 및 첨가제, 예컨대, 방화제, 안정화제, UV 흡수제, 가소화제, 공정 보조제, 충전재, 특히, 전기 전도성을 개선시키기 위한 것, 나노충전재, 안료, 염료, 기핵제 등을 폴리아미드 몰딩재에 첨가할 수 있다. 상기 제제의 양은 원하는 특성에 심각하게 부정적 영향을 주지 않도록 칭량해야 한다. 대부분의 적용에서, 폴리아미드 몰딩재가 사용되는 레이저 두께에서 충분히 투명할 것이 요망된다.
바람직한 실시태양에서, 디아민, 디카르복실산 또는 락탐 (또는 아미노카르복실산)으로부터 유도된 폴리아미드의 단량체 단위는 평균 8개 이상의 탄소 원자, 특히 바람직하게는 9개 이상의 탄소 원자를 가진다.
본 발명의 내용에서 특히 적합한 폴리아미드는 하기와 같다:
- 1,12-도데칸디산 및 4,4'-디아미노디시클로헥실메탄 (PA PACM12)으로부터, 특히, 트랜스,트랜스-이성체 비율이 35 내지 65%인 4,4'-디아미노디시클로헥실메탄에서 출발하여 얻어지는 폴리아미드;
- PA612, PA1010, PA1012, PA11, PA12, PA1212 및 이들의 혼합물;
- 하기 단량체 조성으로 이루어진 코폴리아미드:

β) 탄소원자수 6 내지 14인 기타 디아민 0 내지 30 몰%, 바람직하게는 1 내지 25 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 2 내지 20 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 3 내지 15 몰% (여기서, 몰% 자료는 디아민의 총합을 기준으로 함),
γ) 탄소원자수 10 내지 18인 지방족 디카르복실산 70 내지 100 몰%, 바람직하게는 75 내지 99 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 80 내지 98 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 85 내지 97 몰%, 및
δ) 탄소원자수 6 내지 9인 기타 디카르복실산 0 내지 30 몰%, 바람직하게는 1 내지 25 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 2 내지 20 몰%, 특히 바람직하게는 3 내지 15 몰% (여기서, 몰% 자료는 디카르복실산의 총합을 기준으로 함); 및

추가적인 바람직한 실시태양에서, 필름 또는 그의 바깥쪽을 향하는 층은 폴리에스테르 또는 폴리올레핀을 기재로 하는 몰딩재를 포함한다. 적합한 폴리에스테르는 예를 들어, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리프로필렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌 테레프탈레이트, 폴리에틸렌 2,6-나프탈레이트, 폴리프로필렌 2,6-나프탈레이트 또는 폴리부틸렌 2,6-나프탈레이트이고, 폴리올레핀으로서는 주로 폴리에틸렌 (특히, HDPE, LDPE 및 LLDPE) 및 폴리프로필렌 (이소탁틱 또는 신디오탁틱, 호모 중합체, 및 에텐 및/또는 1-부텐과의 공중합체, 여기서는 랜덤 공중합체가 바람직함)이 적합하다.
접착 촉진제로 작용하는 안쪽을 향하는 필름 층의 경우, 몰딩재는 선택된 물질 조합에 적합한 것으로 알려진 것을 선택한다. 흔히 사용되는 접착 촉진제는 예를 들어, 불포화 카르복실산 또는 불포화 산 무수물로 개질된 폴리올레핀이다. 이러한 생성물 중 다수는 상품명 애드머(ADMER)® 및 바이넬(BYNEL)®로 상업적으로 입수가능하다.
다른 공지된 접착 촉진제는 성형품 및 바깥을 향하는 필름층의 중합체, 및 원하는 경우 상용화제를 함유한다.
전자기선 조사를 흡수하는 첨가제는 선행기술의 일부이다. 흡수성 첨가제는 예를 들어, 카본 블랙이다. 추가적인 적합한 흡수성 첨가제는 골탄(bone charcoal), 흑연, 기타 탄소 입자, 인산수산화구리 (KHP), 염료, 안료 또는 금속 분말이다. 예를 들어 EP-A-0 797 511에 기재된 간섭(interference) 안료도 적합하 고, 상응하는 생성물은 상품명 이리오딘(Iriodin)®으로 판매되고 있다. WO 00/20157 및 WO 02/38677에 기재된 첨가제 (예를 들어, 클리어웰드(ClearWeld)®) 또는 루모겐(Lumogen)® IR 제품 시리즈의 첨가제 (바스프 아게)도 적합하다.

천연 색상에 미칠 부정적인 영향을 피하려는 의도라면, 흡수제는 바람직하게는 간섭 안료, 특히 바람직하게는 머크의 이리오딘 LS 시리즈 또는 클리어웰드®를 포함한다.
카본 블랙은 용광로(furnace) 블랙법, 기체 블랙법 또는 화염 블랙법에 의해, 바람직하게는 용광로 블랙법에 의해 제조될 수 있다. 1차 입자 크기는 10 내지 100 nm, 바람직하게는 20 내지 60 nm이고, 입자 분포는 좁거나 넓을 수 있다. 골탄은 탄소 원소를 함유하는 광물성 검정 안료이다. 이는 인산칼슘 70 내지 90% 및 탄소 30 내지 10%를 포함한다. 밀도는 2.3 내지 2.8 g/ml이다.
흡수제는 유기 및/또는 무기 안료, 방화제 또는 기타 착색제의 혼합물을 함유할 수도 있으며, 이들 자체 각각은 100 내지 3,000 nm의 파장에서 흡수하지 않거나 매우 낮은 정도로 흡수하지만, 조합하면 본 발명에 따른 방법에서의 용도를 위해, 도입된 전자기 에너지를 충분히 잘 흡수한다.
몰딩재 중 흡수성 첨가제의 농도는 통상적으로 0.05 내지 20 중량%, 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 5 중량%, 특히 바람직하게는 0.2 내지 1.5 중량%이다.
용착은 바람직하게는 접촉압 하에서, 선행기술에 따라 실시한다.
전자기선 조사는 주파수 범위와 관련하여 제한되지 않는다. 이는 예를 들어, 마이크로파 조사, IR 조사 또는 바람직하게는 레이저 조사일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 방법에서 사용되는 레이저 조사는 일반적으로 150 내지 11,000 nm 범위, 바람직하게는 700 내지 2,000 nm 범위, 특히 바람직하게는 800 내지 1,100 nm 범위의 파장을 갖는다.
원칙적으로, 모든 통상적인 레이저, 예를 들어, 기체 레이저 및 고체상 레이저가 적합하다. 기체 레이저의 예는 (방출되는 조사의 전형적인 파장을 괄호안에 기술): CO2 레이저 (10,600 nm), 아르곤 기체 레이저 (488 nm 및 514.5 nm), 헬륨-네온 기체 레이저 (543 nm, 632.8 nm, 1150 nm), 크립톤 기체 레이저 (330 내지 360 nm, 420 내지 800 nm), 수소 기체 레이저 (2600 내지 3000 nm), 질소 기체 레이저 (337 nm)이고, 고체상 레이저의 예는 (방출되는 조사의 전형적인 파장을 괄호안에 표시): Nd:YAG 레이저 (Nd3 +:Y3Al5O12) (1064 nm), 고성능 다이오드 레이저 (800 내지 1000 nm), 루비 레이저 (694 nm), F2 엑시머 레이저 (157 nm), ArF 엑시머 레이저 (193 nm), KrCl 엑시머 레이저 (222 nm), KrF 엑시머 레이저 (248 nm), XeCl 엑시머 레이저 (308 nm), XeF 엑시머 레이저 (351 nm), 및 532 nm (2배 주파수), 355 nm (3배 주파수) 또는 266 nm (주파수 4배)의 파장을 가지는 주파수-증폭된 Nd:YAG 레이저이다.
사용되는 레이저는 통상적으로 1 내지 200 와트, 바람직하게는 5 내지 100 와트, 특히 10 내지 50 와트의 전력에서 작동된다.
사용되는 레이저의 에너지 밀도는 문헌에 소위 "단위 길이 당 에너지"로 기술되어 있고, 본 발명에서는 일반적으로 0.1 내지 50 J/mm이다. 실제 에너지 밀도 는 도입된 전력/생성된 용착 면역으로 정의된다. 이 값은 단위 길이 당 에너지 대 생성된 용착 접합부의 폭의 비율과 동등하다. 사용된 레이저의 실제 에너지 밀도는 통상적으로 0.01 내지 25 J/mm이다. 선택될 에너지 밀도는 투명체의 반사 특성 뿐만 아니라, 특히 성형된 플라스틱 물품이 충전재 또는 강화제, 또는 다른 강력한 레이저-흡수성 또는 레이저-산란성 물질을 함유하는지 여부에 따라 달라진다. 낮은 반사율을 가지고, 충전재 또는 강화재를 함유하지 않는 중합체에 대하여, 에너지 밀도는 통상적으로 1 내지 20, 특히 3 내지 10 J/mm이다. 충전재 또는 강화재를 함유하는 중합체에 대해서는, 통상적으로 3 내지 50 J/mm, 특히 5 내지 20 J/mm이다.
본 발명에 따른 방법에서 사용될 수 있는 상응하는 레이저는 상업적으로 입수가능하다.
특히 바람직한 레이저는 파동이 짧은 적외선 범위에서 방출된다. 이러한 특히 바람직한 레이저는 고체상 레이저, 특히, Nd:YAG 레이저 (1064 nm) 및 고성능 다이오드 레이저 (800 내지 1000 nm)이다.
성형품이 사용된 전자기선 조사를 흡수하면, 조사는 필름을 통과하여 일어난다. 이 경우, 필름은 조사에 대하여 충분히 투명하다.
그러나, 조사에 대하여 투명한 성형품 및 흡수성 단층 필름을 사용할 수도 있고, 이 경우, 조사는 성형품을 통해 일어난다.
추가적인 실시태양에서, 안쪽을 향하는 층 (즉, 성형품을 향하는 층)이 흡수성인 다층 필름을 사용한다. 이 경우, 조사는 필름을 통과하여 일어날 수 있다. 그러나, 성형품이 충분히 투명하면, 조사는 성형품을 통해서도 일어날 수 있다.
투명 필름 또는 외부 층의 경우, 필름 또는 외부 층이 용융되지 않는 것이 유리하다. 그 결과, 접촉압이 표면에 어떠한 자국도 남기지 않는다. 따라서, 외부 층 또는 필름 (단층 실시태양의 경우), 가능한 접착 촉진제 층 및 성형품의 융점 및 연화점 범위를 서로 맞추는 것이 유리하다. 바람직하게는, 접착 촉진제의 융점 또는 연화점 범위는 외층의 것보다 낮다. 단층 필름의 경우, 성형품 재료의 융점 또는 연화점 범위가 낮은 것이 바람직하다.
필름 (단층 실시태양의 경우) 또는 외부 층 (즉, 다층 필름의 바깥쪽을 향하는 층)은 넓은 범위의 요구 조건을 충족시킬 수 있다. 이는 보호 기능과, 양호한 내스크레치성, UV 안정성, 열 안정성 또는 화학 물질에 대한 내성을 가질 수 있거나, 충분히 투명하다면 배면에 각인시켜, 그 결과 각인을 제거하거나 긁어낼 수 없도록 할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 본 발명에 따른 방법을 이용하여, 폴리올레핀 표면, 예를 들어, 병에 전처리 없이 필름을 예를 들어 라벨의 형태로 제공할 수 있다. 엠블럼 또는 보호 필름의 적용은 표면 장식 또는 안전성 관련 구성 요소의 명기 또는 표시, 또는 출처 또는 보장의 증거 또는 안전성 정보의 적용과 마찬가지로 가능하다. 이 방법을 이용하여 비교적 적은 양도 쉽고 신뢰성있게 제조할 수 있다.
용착시, 필름을 구 또는 롤러를 이용하여 가압한다. 빔은 충분히 투명한 가압 롤러를 통해 인도(guide)될 수 있다. 별법으로, 빔은 2개의 롤러 뒤에서 또는 사이에서 간단하게 도입될 수도 있다. 또한, 필름은 진공에 의해 성형품에 대향하여 흡인되거나 가압 롤러 및 진공의 조합에 의해 연결될 수 있다.
특히 적합한 실시태양에서, 레이저 빔은 기계적 가압 도구로 동시적으로 작용하는 회전식 구형 유리 렌즈를 통해 초점을 맞춘다. 이 방법의 이러한 변형법을 이용하여, 3차원 연결 접합부를 가지는 복잡한 구성 요소들도 용착될 수 있다. 공기-지지 회전식 구형 유리 렌즈는 연결부 구역에 접촉압을 도입시킨다. 접촉압 지점은 레이저 조사가 접촉압이 존재하는 곳에서만 일어나도록, 언제나 광학 시스템의 축 상에 존재한다. 이로써, 복잡한 3차원 구조의 경우에도 고품질의 용착이 보장된다.
Claims (6)
- a) 성형품을 제공하고,b) 전자기선 조사를 일으켜 성형품의 표면의 적어도 일부를 장식 필름에 용착시키는, 표면이 장식된 성형품의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 성형품이, 한층씩(layer by layer) 작업하는 몰드리스(mouldless)법에 의해 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 성형품이 충전재 및/또는 강화재 1 내지 60 중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필름이 단층 또는 다층 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 필름 또는 필름의 바깥쪽을 향하는 층이 반결정질 폴리아미드, 불소중합체, 폴리에스테르 또는 폴리올레핀을 기재로 하는 몰딩재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 전자기선 조사가 레이저 조사인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
