Claims (6)
- 하나 이상의 열 교환관을 포함하는 냉각 코어, 및 슬롯을 구비하는 하나 이상의 매니폴드를 갖는 열 교환기로서,상기 열 교환관의 일단부가 상기 매니폴드와 유체연결되도록 삽입되고, 각 슬롯이 슬롯 개구 및 상기 매니폴드의 변형된 벽부에 형성된 슬롯 벽부에 의해 형성되는, 냉각 코어를 갖는 열 교환기에 있어서,상기 슬롯(4)의 외측면들이 상기 매니폴드 벽부에 대해 내측으로 변형되어 상기 매니폴드(1) 외측 표면에 요면(2)을 제공하고,상기 슬롯(4)의 내측면들이 상기 매니폴드 벽부에 대해 내측으로 변형되어, 상기 매니폴드(1) 내측 표면에 철면(3)을 제공하며,상기 열 교환관(5)의 단부의 종방향 에지의 적어도 일부분을 수용하도록 상기 슬롯 벽부(10)를 제공하는 상기 철면(3) 내에 홈(6)들이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는냉각 코어를 갖는 열 교환기.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 홈(6)의 내측 단부들이 숄더(8)에 의해 제한되며, 상기 숄더(8)는 상기 열 교환관(5)의 단부들을 상기 매니폴드(1) 내부로 삽입하는 깊이를 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는냉각 코어를 갖는 열 교환기.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 매니폴드(1)가 인접하는 슬롯 개구(7)들 사이에 편평한 부분(9)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는냉각 코어를 갖는 열 교환기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 매니폴드(1)는 관형상이며, 횡단면이 실질적으로 직사각형 또는 타원형인 것을 특징으로 하는냉각 코어를 갖는 열 교환기.
- 열 교환관을 수용하는 복수의 슬롯들을 포함하는 열 교환기 매니폴드를 제조하는 방법으로서,상기 열 교환관의 단부들이 상기 매니폴드와 유체연결되도록 삽입되고, 각 슬롯이 슬롯 개구 및 상기 매니폴드의 변형된 벽부로부터 형성된 슬롯 벽부에 의해 형성되는, 열 교환기 매니폴드 제조 방법에 있어서,(ⅰ) 매니폴드의 관형상 폐쇄 프로파일을 형성하는 단계,(ⅱ) 상기 매니폴드의 외측 및 내측 표면에 한 쌍의 요면 및 철면을 각각 형성하도록 양 측면으로부터 내측으로 프로파일 벽부를 변형시키는 단계, 및(ⅲ) 내측으로 변형된 곡선형 매니폴드 벽부에 의해 둘러싸인 슬롯 개구들을 형성하도록 각각의 철면 쌍들 사이에 상기 매니폴드를 랜싱하는 단계,(ⅳ) 각각의 철면 쌍들의 내부에 홈들을 절삭하는 단계,를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는열 교환기 매니폴드 제조방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,인접하는 슬롯 개구들 사이에 편평한 부분을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는열 교환기 매니폴드 제조방법.
