Abstract
【解決手段】複数の平行な熱交換チューブ5と、スロット4が設けられた2つのマニホールド1とから成る冷却コアを有する熱交換器であって、熱交換チューブ5の端部が各マニホールドと流体接続された状態で挿入され、各スロット4がマニホールドの変形された壁部から形成された平行に延びるスロット壁とスロット開口部7とによって画定される熱交換器に関する。スロット4の外側は、マニホールド壁に対して内側に変形され、それによりマニホールド外面に凹部2を形成し、スロット4の内側は、マニホールド壁に対して内側に変形され、それによりマニホールド内面に凸部3を形成し、また、凸部3は、熱交換チューブ5の端部における長手方向に延びる縁部の少なくとも一部を受け入れるために、スロット壁を形成する溝6を備える。

Description
(i) 管状の閉じられた形材を形作ってマニホールドとするステップと、
(ii) 両側から内側に向かって上記形材の壁を変形させることにより、マニホールドの外面および内面に一対の凹部および凸部をそれぞれ形成するステップと、
(iii) 一対の凸部の間においてマニホールドを切開することにより、内側に変形されて湾曲したマニホールド壁部によって取り囲まれるスロット開口部を形成するステップと、
(iv) 一対の凸部に溝を形成するステップと、
を備える方法が提供される。
Claims (6)
- 少なくとも1つの熱交換チューブとスロットが設けられた少なくとも1つのマニホールドとを備える冷却コアを有し、前記熱交換チューブの端部が前記マニホールドと流体接続された状態で挿入され、前記スロットが前記マニホールドの変形された壁部に形成されたスロット壁とスロット開口部とによって画定される熱交換器であって、
前記スロット(4)の外側が前記マニホールドの壁部に対して内側に変形されることで、前記マニホールド(1)の外面に凹部(2)が設けられ、
前記スロット(4)の内側が前記マニホールドの壁部に対して内側に変形されることで、前記マニホールド(1)の内面に凸部(3)が設けられており、
前記熱交換チューブ(5)の端部における長手方向縁部の少なくとも一部を受け入れるために、前記凸部(3)には溝(6)が形成され、前記スロット壁(10)を提供することを特徴とする熱交換器。 - 前記溝(6)の内側の端部が、前記マニホールド(1)内への前記熱交換チューブ(5)の端部の挿入深さを制限する段部(8)によって規定されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の熱交換器。
- 前記マニホールド(1)が、隣り合う前記スロット開口部(7)同士の間に平坦部(9)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の熱交換器。
- 前記マニホールド(1)が、管状であり、略矩形または略楕円の断面を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の熱交換器。
- 熱交換チューブを受け入れるようになっている複数のスロットを備え、前記熱交換チューブの端部が流体接続された状態で挿入された熱交換器マニホールドであり、前記スロットが前記マニホールドの変形された壁部に形成されたスロット壁とスロット開口部とによって画定される前記熱交換器マニホールドの製造方法であって、
(i) 管状の閉じられた形材を形作ってマニホールドとするステップと、
(ii) 両側から内側に向かって前記形材の壁を変形させることにより、前記マニホールドの外面および内面に一対の凹部および凸部をそれぞれ形成するステップと、
(iii) 前記一対の凸部の間において前記マニホールドを切開することにより、内側に変形されて湾曲したマニホールド壁部によって取り囲まれるスロット開口部を形成するステップと、
(iv) 前記一対の凸部に溝を形成するステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする熱交換器マニホールドの製造方法。 - 隣り合う前記スロット開口部同士の間に平坦部を形成するステップを更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の熱交換器マニホールドの製造方法。
