Claims (12)
- 유체 입구와 유체 출구를 형성하는 하우징, 상기 하우징의 배출 틈새(an outlet aperture)에 인접하는 밸브 시팅(valve seating), 유체 출구를 밀봉하도록 배출 틈새의 밸브 시팅을 밀봉되게 지탱하여주는 밀봉된 상태와 밀봉 부재(a sealing member)가 밸브 시팅에서 이탈함으로써 유체 출구가 유체 입구만의 유체 흐름 연결이 유지되는 개방 상태 사이에서 축 방향을 따라 이동될 수 있으면서 상기 하우징 내에 수용된 플로트 부재(a float member); 밸브 시팅과 유체 출구 중간으로 확장됨으로써 유체 입구와 유체 출구 사이의 압력 차이가 최저 압력 임계(threshold)를 초과하지 아니하는 한 그들 간의 유체의 흐름을 차단하는 압력 유지 장치를 포함하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 밸브가, 유체 입구에서 역압(under-pressure)이 걸리는 경우에 상당히 높은 속도로 상기 유체 입구 쪽으로 유체가 흐르게 허용하도록 상기 유체 출구와의 유체 흐름 연결에 존재하는 일방향 유체 인입 밸브(a one-way fluid inlet valve)를 추가로 더 포함하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제1항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브는 상기 유체 출구와의 유체 흐름 연결에 존재하는 인입 포트(inlet port) 및 상기 유체 입구와의 유체 흐름 연결에 존재하는 배출 포트 내에 형성된 케이지(cage)의 형태이고, 케이지 내에 수용되고 유체 입구에서 압력이 유체 출구에서 압력 이하로 감소할 때 마다 인입 포트의 밀봉 연결(sealing engagement)과 인입 포트의 밀봉 이탈(sealing engagement) 사이에서 이동할 수 있는 밀봉 부재인 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제2항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브의 밀봉 부재가 유체 입구에서 역압이 걸리는 경우에 상기 인입 포트를 통한 흐름 단면적이 증가하도록 가요성 실(a flexible seal)이 인입 포트에서 이탈하고 변형되는 가요성 실인 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제2항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브의 인입 포트가 상기 압력 유지 장치 위에 있는 벤팅 덕트(venting duct)를 통하여 상기 밸브의 상기 유체 출구와 유체 흐름 연결이 유지되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제2항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 케이지의 인입 포트는 상기 하우징의 벽 부분에 형성되고 상기 케이지의 배출 포트(outlet port)는 하우징에 고정된 케이지 끝 부분(closure)에 형성되는 것임을 특징으로 하고, 상기 배출 포트는 밸브의 유체 입구와 유체 흐름 연결이 유지되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제1항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브는 상기 밸브의 세로축에 대해 편심으로 확장하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제1항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브는 하우징 내의 플로트 부재의 위치와 무관하게 밀봉할 수 있는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제1항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브는 약 4 l/min에 이르는 상당히 높은 유속에서 상기 밸브를 통기 하도록 설계된 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제1항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 일방향 인입 밸브가 상기 차량이 전복될 경우 자연적으로 밀봉되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 제2항의 롤 오버 벤트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 밀봉 부재가 직사각형 형태의 단면인 탄력 실(a resilient seal)인 것임을 특징으로 하는 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 상기 청구항들에서 청구된 것과 실질적으로 동일한 롤 오버 벤트 밸브.
- 상기 명세서 및 도면에서 기술된 것과 실질적으로 동일한 롤 오버 벤트 밸 브.
