Description
Claims (11)
- 차량의 탑승공간으로부터 격리된 전지팩 주변부위의 차량 내부 공기가 흡기 덕트를 거치지 않고 상기 전지팩 내부로 직접 유입되고, 전지팩을 통과한 가열 공기는 상기 전지팩 주변부위로의 재순환 가능성이 적은 차량의 내부공간으로 연결된 배기 덕트를 통해 배출되는 것으로 구성되어 있는 차량용 전지팩의 냉각 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 냉각 시스템은 단위전지들을 포함하고 있는 전지팩의 외면을 감싸는 밀폐형의 하우징, 상기 단위전지들이 위치하는 부위의 하우징 상에 천공되어 있는 다수의 흡기구, 상기 흡기구에 대향하는 부위의 하우징 상에 연결된 배기 덕트, 및 상기 배기 덕트 상에 장착되어 있는 냉각팬을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지팩은 차량 후미의 트렁크 내부에 탑재되는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배기 덕트가 연결되는 상기 내부공간은 차량의 내부 패널과 외부 패널 사이의 공간인 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지팩은 하나 또는 둘 이상의 판상형 단위전지들을 카트리지에 장착한 후 이들 카트리지들을 순차적으로 적층한 구조의 전지모듈로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 단위전지는 판상형의 리튬이온 이차전지, 리튬이온 폴리머 이차전지 또는 니켈 금속수소 전지인 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 흡기구는 전지팩의 판상형 단위전지에 대응하는 슬릿(slit) 형태로 이루어져 있고, 각 단위전지에 대응하여 다수 개가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 흡기구는 이물질이 유입되는 것을 방지할 수 있도록 그것의 상부가 스커트 구조로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 하우징의 하단은 차량의 굴곡진 하부판에 대응하는 형상의 전지팩 베이스 플레이트와 동일한 형상으로 굴곡되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 단위전지의 냉각을 위한 공기의 유로가 최단거리의 직선 경로를 형성할 수 있도록, 전지팩의 전력을 인출 및 차단하기 위한 정크션 모듈이 상기 전지팩의 일측에 위치하고, 전지팩의 온도와 단위전지들의 전압을 모니터링하 는 BMS 모듈이 타측에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 냉각팬은 BMS 모듈에 의해 자동으로 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 냉각 시스템.
