Abstract

Claims (21)
- 무선 정보 장치에 음성 메일을 제공하는 방법에 있어서,(a) 음성 메일 서버에서 음성 메시지를 수신하는 단계와;(b) 상기 음성 메시지를 오디오 파일 포맷으로 변환하는 단계와;(c) 상기 오디오 파일을 광역 네트워크 상에서 컴퓨터 네트워크를 포함하는 음성 대 텍스트 전사 시스템(voice to text transcription system)에 전송 또는 스트리밍하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 방법은,(i) 상기 네트워크 컴퓨터 중 하나가 상기 음성 메시지를 운용자에 재생하는 단계와;(ii) 상기 운용자가 상기 원본 음성 메시지를 상기 컴퓨터에 지능적으로 전사하여 전사된 텍스트 메시지를 생성하는 단계와;(iii) 상기 운용자가 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지를 상기 컴퓨터로부터 상기 무선 정보 장치에 전송되게 하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지는 상기 음성 메일 서버에 유지된 상기 음성 메시지에 상기 텍스트 메시지를 연결하여 최종 사용자가 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지에 관한 상기 장치 상에 디스플레이되는 선택사항을 선택함으로써 상 기 음성 메시지가 상기 무선 정보 장치에 재생될 수 있게 하는 고유 식별정보를 포함하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지는 상기 음성 메시지가 상기 음성 메일 서버에서 원래 수신된 시간 및 날짜에 추가되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 음성 메시지는 이동 전화기 또는 유선 전화기에서 발신되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지에는 전화 번호 또는 호출자명 등의 호출자 식별 데이터가 추가되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지는 상기 음성 메시지의 발신자로부터 직접 전송되는 것처럼 상기 장치 상에 디스플레이되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨터는 상기 무선 정보 장치에 관련된 전화 번호를 상기 운용자에 디스플레이하지 않는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨터는 언어, 방언 또는 문화적 이유로 인해 상기 음성 메시지를 전사하는데 보다 적합한 운용자를 갖는 상이한 컴퓨터에 상기 오디오 파일을 다시 라우팅하는 선택을 상기 운용자에게 디스플레이하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨터는 문화적 격언, 정기 이벤트, 스포츠 이벤트, 미디어 이벤트, 및 다른 종류의 뉴스가 될만한 이벤트에 관련된 특별 항목의 검색가능한 리스트를 상기 운용자에 제공하여 상기 운용자가 그 특별 용어를 정확하게 전사하도록 지원하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 운용자는 기입된 설명 또는 이모티콘을 사용하여 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지에 상기 음성 메시지를 남겨두는 상기 호출자의 분위기를 나타내는 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 운용자는 상기 음성 메시지를 간략하게 요약하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 운용자는 상기 음성 메시지를 요약하여 160개의 문자 SMS 제한 또는 접합된 텍스트 메시지에 적합하게 하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 운용자는 상기 전사된 텍스트 메시지로부터 상기 음성 메시지 내에 존재하는 임의의 중얼거림, 아티팩트, 또는 반복을 생략하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 텍스트 메시지는 상기 장치의 사용자에 의해 적절한 이전에 규정된 포맷으로 상기 무선 정보 장치에 전송되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 텍스트 메시지는 SMS, MMS, 이메일 또는 팩스로서 전송되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.

- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 파싱된 데이터를 파싱하여 사용하는 단계는,(a) 언급된 상기 전화 번호를 추출하여 이를 전화부에 사용(통화), 저장, 편 집 또는 추가될 수 있게 하는 단계와,(b) 이메일 주소를 추출하여 이를 주소록에 사용, 저장, 편집 또는 추가될 수 있게 하는 단계와,(c) 물리적 주소를 추출하여 이를 주소록에 사용, 저장, 편집 또는 추가될 수 있게 하는 단계와,(d) 웹 주소(하이퍼링크)를 추출하여 이를 주소록 또는 브라우저 선택에 사용, 편집, 저장 또는 추가될 수 있게 하는 단계와,(e) 회의 시간을 추출하여 이를 입력으로서 일정에 사용, 저장, 편집 및 추가될 수 있게 하는 단계와,(f) 번호를 추출하여 이를 장치 애플리케이션 중 하나에 저장하는 단계와,(g) 고유 명사를 추출하여 웹(WAP 또는 전체 브라우저)에서 검색 또는 탐색하는 선택을 제공하는 단계 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 음성 메시지의 기록 시간이 사용자 설정 최대 시간보다 적은 경우, 상기 메시지가 전사되고, 그렇지 않은 경우, 전사되지 않고, 그 대신, 들을 신규 음성 메일을 갖는 표준 통지가 상기 사용자에게 전송되는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
- 제18항에 있어서, 인간 전사자는 상기 음성 메시지를 듣고 상기 메시지 수신처에 전송된 통화의 제목의 매우 짧은 표시를 기입하는 것인 음성 메일 제공 방법.
