Claims (8)
- 실린더와,상기 실린더 내에 활주 가능하게 마련된 피스톤을 포함하고,상기 피스톤과 실린더는 피스톤의 전측(앞쪽)에 액압을 발생시키는 압력실을 형성하고, 상기 실린더와 피스톤의 외주면은 리저버와 연통하는 액 공급실을 형성하며,상기 실린더의 내주면에 유지되고, 액 공급실과 압력실을 구획하기 위해 상기 피스톤의 외주면에 활주하기에 적합하게 되어 있는 환상의 컵형 시일부와,상기 피스톤에 형성되고, 대향하는 개구부를 가지며, 압력실과 액 공급실 사이를 연통(連通)시킬 수 있도록 상기 개구부 중 하나는 상기 피스톤의 외주면으로 개방되고, 다른 개구부는 항상 압력실로 개방되어 있는 릴리프 포트(relief port)를 포함하며,상기 피스톤의 외주면에는 제어 테이퍼면(control taper surface)이 상기 피스톤 외주면의 릴리프 포트의 개구부로부터 후방으로 형성되어 있고, 상기 제어 테이퍼면은 피스톤의 전측을 향해 직경이 감소되도록 테이퍼져 있으며, 컵형 시일부의 내주면에 접촉할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피스톤의 외주면에는 리세스(recess)가 형성되어 있으며, 상기 리세스에는 피스톤 외주면의 릴리프 포트의 개구부가 형성되어 있고, 상기 제어 테이퍼면은 리세스 내에서 릴리프 포트의 개구부로부터 후방으로 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 피스톤은 상기 컵형 시일부가 상기 압착 활주 접촉면을 활주할 때, 컵형 시일부가 압착될 정도의 직경을 갖는 압착 활주 접촉면을 가지며, 상기 제어 테이퍼면을 상기 압착 활주 접촉면에 연결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제어 테이퍼면의 전측에는 제2 테이퍼면이 제어 테이퍼면에 연결되도록 상기 피스톤의 전측을 향해 직경이 감소되는 제2 테이퍼면이 형성되어 있으며, 상기 제어 테이퍼면의 테이퍼량은 제2 테이퍼면의 테이퍼량보다 더 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 릴리프 포트의 개구부는 상기 피스톤의 외주면으로 개방되어 있고, 상기 제2 테이퍼면에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 컵형 시일부의 일부분은 상기 리세스 내에 수용되고, 또 리세스의 윤곽에 거의 상보하는 윤곽을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 리세스는 복수 개의 테이퍼면에 의해 형성되며, 테이퍼면 중 가장 후방에 있는 하나가 상기 제어 테이퍼면을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 리세스는 상기 피스톤의 중심 축선을 통해 연장되는 평면에 원호형의 단면 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 마스터 실린더.
