Claims (2)
- 입력된 영상 신호를 표시하는 러스터(raster) 스캔 표시 장치에 있어서, 화상 표시 영역의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 한쪽 길이를 변경하는 제 1 변경 수단과, 변경된 상기 한쪽 길이와 사이즈 변경전의 상기 화상 표시 영역의 애스펙트비를 사용하여, 사이즈 변경 후의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 다른쪽 길이를 산출하는 연산 수단과, 상기 연산 수단에 의해 구해진 상기 다른쪽 길이에 근거하여, 상기 화상 표시 영역의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 상기 다른쪽 길이를 변경하는 제 2 변경 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 러스터 스캔 표시 장치.
- 입력된 영상 신호를 표시하는 러스터 스캔 표시 장치의 화상 표시 영역의 사이즈 변경 방법에 있어서, 화상 표시 영역의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 한쪽 길이를 변경하는 제 1 스텝과, 상기 검출된 한쪽 길이와 사이즈 변경전의 상기 화상 표시 영역의 애스펙트비를 사용하여, 사이즈 변경 후의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 다른쪽 길이를 산출하는 제 2 스텝과, 상기 산출된 상기 다른쪽 길이에 근거하여, 상기 화상 표시 영역의 수평 또는 수직 방향의 상기 다른쪽 길이를 변경하는 제 3 스텝으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 러스터 스캔 표시 장치.
