차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법
본 발명은 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법에 관한 것으로서, 상세하게는 운전자가 각종 돌발상황을 감지하고 브레이크를 밟아 감속할 때 엔진의 RPM 변화를 감지하여 자동으로 비상등을 점등시키도록 하는 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 차량의 비상등(비상점멸표시등 : Hazard Warning Signal Flasher)은 차량에 긴급상황이 발생했을 때 작동시켜 자기 차량 및 여타 차량의 안전을 도모하기 위한 것이다. 즉, 차량의 전후좌우 방향지시등이 동시에 점멸되도록 함으로써 여타 차량에게 비상상황을 알려주도록 하기 위한 것이다.
차량을 주행하다 도로에 위험물이 있거나 예기치 않은 곳에 정차된 차량이 있을 때, 이러한 돌발상황에서 급격히 브레이크를 작동시켜 감속하게 되면 후방에서 주행하던 다른 차량이 충분한 안전거리를 확보하지 못했을 경우 자칫 연쇄적인 추돌사고를 일으키기 쉽다.
이에 따라 긴급상황이 발생되면 운전자는 브레이크를 밟아 감속하며, 종래에는 도 3에 도시한 바와 같이 운전석의 소정부위에 장치된 비상등스위치(SW)를 작동시켜 차량의 방향지시등램프(L)를 일정주기로 점멸시킴으로써 여타 차량에게 이러한 차량의 급감속상태를 고지시킬 수 있도록 하였다.
그러나 상기와 같은 종래의 비상등 작동방법은 분초를 다투는 위급한 상황에서 운전자가 수동으로 조작해야 하는 것이어서 빠른 시간에 이를 작동하기에 곤란함이 있었다. 즉, 아주 짧은 시간의 소요에도 차량의 주행거리는 추돌사고를 일으킬 정도가 되므로 비상등의 점등소요시간에 따라 사고의 위험을 방지하는 데 미흡함이 있다는 문제점이 있는 것이다.
본 발명은 상기한 문제점을 감안하여 안출한 것으로서, 본 발명의 목적은 차량의 주행시 전방의 각종 돌발상황에 대처하여 운전자가 급감속 시행시에 수동으로 비상등스위치를 작동시키지 않아도 자동적으로 비상등이 점등되어 후방차량 등 여타차량에게 위험상황을 신속히 알려줄 수 있도록 하는 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법을 제공하는 데 있다.

상기한 목적을 이루기 위하여 본 발명은 운전자의 급브레이크 작동에 따라 엔진의 RPM 변화치가 ECU(10)로 입력되는 단계 상기 입력된 RPM에 따라 급감속시의 초당 감속률()을 산정하는 단계 상기 산정된 감속률()과 사전설정된 기준치를 비교하는 단계 상기 감속률()과 기준치와의 관계가 기준치일 때 비상등을 작동시키는단계를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법을 제공한다.
이에 따라 도로 주행중 돌발상황에 대하여 급브레이크를 작동시키면 이와 동시에 비상등이 작동하게 되는 것이다.
이하 첨부된 예시도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 보다 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 1은 본 발명의 회로구성도로서, 본 발명은 엔진의 RPM이 입력되는 ECU(10)와, 이러한 ECU(10)에 연결된 릴레이(R) 및 비상등으로 사용되는 방향지시등램프(L)로 구성된다.
도 2는 본 발명의 플로우차트로서, 도 1을 참고하여 본 발명의 작동을 설명한다. 먼저 차량의 주행중 운전자가 위험상황을 감지하고 급브레이크를 밟으면 엔진의 RPM의 변화가 ECU(10)에 입력되고, 이러한 입력값은 ECU(10)에서 초당 감속률()을 계산한다. 이에 따라 차량의 급감속시의 감속률이 사전설정된 기준치 이상되면, 즉 기준치이면 방향지시등램프(L)를 점등시켜 비상등을 작동시키게 되는 바, 이때 비상등의 점등시간은 5∼10초 동안 작동하도록 함이 바람직하다.
상기 기준치는 차량이 급감속을 위하여 급브레이크를 밟았을 때 단위시간(초)당 변환되는 엔진 RPM 의 변환에 따른 감속률 기준치로서, 이는 여러 가지 테스트를 거쳐 정해질 수 있는 것이므로 수치 한정하지 않으며, 차종에 따라 가감하여 설정하는 것이 바람직하다.
따라서 본 발명은 급감속을 위한 급브레이크의 작동시 곧바로 비상등이 점등되므로 돌발상황의 인지와 브레이크의 작동, 그리고 수동으로 비상등스위치를 작동하는 데 소요되는 시간차를 줄일 수 있게 되어 후방차량에게 신속히 비상상황을 인식시켜줄 수 있어서 사고를 예방할 수 있으며, 차량의 안전거리가 충분히 확보되지 못했다 하더라도 대형사고를 방지할 수 있게 된다.
이상과 같이 본 발명은 주행중 각종 도로에서 빈번히 발생되는 위급상황을 인지하고 운전자가 급브레이크를 밟을 때, 운전자가 수동으로 비상등스위치를 작동하지 않아도 급감속과 동시에 비상등이 자동으로 점등되어 작동되므로 후방차량이 이를 신속히 인지하여 대처할 수 있게 되어 추돌사고를 사전에 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 이에 따라 차량의 안전성이 현저하게 향상되게 되므로 차량의 상품성이 크게 향상되는 효과가 있다.

  1. 운전자의 급브레이크 작동에 따라 엔진의 RPM 변화치가 ECU(10)로 입력되는 단계 상기 입력된 RPM에 따라 급감속시의 초당 감속률()을 산정하는 단계 상기 산정된 감속률()과 사전설정된 기준치를 비교하는 단계 상기 감속률()과 기준치와의 관계가 기준치일 때 비상등을 작동시키는단계를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 비상등의 작동시간은 5∼10초 작동함을 특징으로 하는 차량의 급감속시 비상등 자동점등방법.
