Claims (6)
- 기재(基材)의 도포 영역에 재료액을 도포하고, 건조시켜 막을 형성하는 막 형성 방법으로서,상기 도포 영역에 격벽을 형성하는 격벽 형성 공정과,상기 격벽이 덮이도록, 상기 도포 영역에 상기 재료액을 도포하는 재료액 도포 공정과,상기 재료액을 건조시키는 건조 공정을 가지며,상기 격벽 형성 공정에서, 상기 격벽의 높이가, 상기 재료액 도포 공정에서의 상기 재료액의 막 두께보다도 낮고 또한 건조 후의 상기 막의 막 두께보다도 높게 되도록, 상기 격벽을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 막 형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 격벽 형성 공정에서, 복수의 상기 격벽을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 막 형성 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 격벽 형성 공정에서, 상기 재료액으로 이루어지는 상기 격벽을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 막 형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 재료액 도포 공정에서, 액적 토출법을 이용하여 상기 재료액을 도포하는 것을 특징으로 하는 막 형성 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 막은, 액정 분자의 배향을 규제하는 배향막인 것을 특징으로 하는 막 형성 방법.
- 대향하는 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 전기 광학 재료가 삽입되어 이루어지는 전기 광학 장치로서,상기 기판의 상기 전기 광학 재료측의 면(面)에, 제 1 항에 기재된 막 형성 방법에 의해 상기 막이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
