- 화소전극이 배치되는 제1투명기판, 상기 제1투명기판과 대향하여 배치되는 제2투명기판, 상기 화소전극과 상기 제2투명기판 간에 배치되는 컬러 필터, 및 상기 제1투명기판과 상기 제2투명기판 간에 개재되는 액정층을 구비하고;상기 화소전극은 반사막이 배치되는 광반사부 및 상기 반사막이 존재하지 않는 광투과부를 가지며;상기 광투과부는 평면시(平面視)에서 상기 화소전극을 상기 화소전극의 폭 방향으로 관통하도록 띠 형상으로 형성되고,상기 광투과부는 상기 화소전극의 길이방향의 양단(兩端)보다도 내측에 위치하고, 또한 상기 양단에 대하여 이간(離間)하고 있고,상기 광반사부는 상기 화소전극의 길이방향에 상기 광투과부를 사이에 두고 나란히 형성된 제1광반사부 및 제2광반사부를 가지며,상기 컬러 필터는 상기 제1광반사부에 대향하는 부위에 제1개구부, 및 상기 제2광반사부에 대향하는 부위에 제2개구부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 제1투명기판에는, 복수의 상기 화소전극이 상기 화소전극의 폭 방향으로 간극을 사이에 두고 배열되어 있고,서로 이웃하는 2개의 상기 화소전극에 있어서, 일방의 상기 화소전극의 상기 광투과부의 길이방향의 위치가, 상기 간극을 사이에 두고, 타방의 상기 화소전극의 상기 광투과부의 길이방향의 위치와 중첩하도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
