Description
Claims (12)
- 발광 소자와 상기 발광 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동용 TFT을 포함하는 발광 표시용 화소를 다수 배열한 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치로서,상기 발광 표시 장치에는 측정용 소자와 상기 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동용 TFT을 포함하는 복수의 측정용 화소가 배열되고,상기 측정용 화소에 포함된 상기 구동용 TFT는 선형 영역에서 동작하도록 구성되며, 상기 측정용 화소는 정전류원으로부터 전원이 공급되고, 상기 정전류원과 상기 측정용 화소 사이의 전원 공급선으로부터, 상기 측정용 소자와 상기 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동 TFT의 직렬 회로의 순방향 전압을 도출하도록 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 동일한 휘도 제어 신호에 근거하여, 상기 발광 표시용 화소의 발광 휘도 및 상기 정전류원의 전류값이 가변 제어되도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발광 표시용 화소가 데이터선과 제어선의 교차 위치에 매트릭스형으로 각각 배열되고, 상기 측정용 화소는 하나의 데이터선에 따라서 일렬로 배열되며, 상기 측정용 화소에서 이용되는 제어선이 상기 발광 표시용 화소에서 이용되는 제어선과 공통인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 측정용 화소를 구성하는 측정용 소자에 의해 얻어지는 순방향 전압이 증가함에 따라, 상기 발광 표시용 화소에 인가하는 전원 전압을 증가시키도록 제어하고, 상기 순방향 전압이 저하함에 따라, 상기 전원 전압을 저하시키도록 제어하는 전원회로를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치.
- 발광 소자와 상기 발광 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동용 TFT을 포함하는 발광 표시용 화소가 다수 배열되고, 측정용 소자와 상기 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동용 TFT을 포함하는 복수의 측정용 화소가 배열된 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치의 구동 제어 방법으로서,상기 측정용 화소에 포함된 상기 구동 TFT를 선형 영역에서 동작시키고, 정전류원으로부터 상기 구동 TFT를 사이에 두고 전류를 공급함으로써, 상기 측정용 소자를 구동시키는 단계와,상기 정전류원과 측정용 화소 사이의 전원 공급선으로부터, 상기 측정용 소자와 상기 소자에 구동 전류를 인가하는 구동 TFT의 직렬 회로의 순방향 전압을 얻는 단계와,상기 순방향 전압이 증가함에 따라, 상기 발광 표시용 화소에 인가하는 구동 전압을 증가시키고, 상기 순방향 전압이 저하함에 따라, 상기 구동 전압을 저하시키도록 제어하는 단계를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치의 구동 제어 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 동일한 휘도 제어 신호에 근거하여, 상기 발광 표시용 화소의 발광 휘도 및 상기 정전류원의 전류값을 가변 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 구동형 발광 표시 장치의 구동 제어 방법.
