Claims (16)
- 다중 입력 다중 출력(MIMO) 통신 시스템에서 다중 공간 전송 채널들을 통한 전송 데이터를 처리하기 위한 방법으로서,다수의 전송 안테나들 및 다수의 수신 안테나들 사이에서 데이터 전송에 이용가능한 복수의 공간 전송 채널들의 특징들을 결정하는 단계;상기 결정된 특징들 및 임계치에 기초하여 상기 공간 전송 채널들 중 전부가 아닌 하나 이상의 공간 전송 채널들을 선택하는 단계;코딩된 데이터를 제공하기 위해서, 모든 선택된 공간 전송 채널들을 위한 데이터를 하나의 특정 코딩 방식에 기초하여 코딩하는 단계;변조 심볼들을 제공하기 위해서, 모든 선택된 공간 전송 채널들을 위한 상기 코딩된 데이터를 하나의 특정 변조 방식에 기초하여 변조하는 단계; 및상기 선택된 전송 채널에 대한 전송 전력 레벨을 나타내고 또한 상기 선택된 전송 채널의 상기 결정된 특징들에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여 유도되는 각각의 가중치에 기초해서, 각각의 선택된 공간 전송 채널에 대한 변조 심볼들을 가중화(weighting)하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 선택된 전송 채널들을 위한 가중치들은, 상기 선택된 전송 채널들을 통해 수신되는 변조 심볼들에 대해 유사한 수신 품질을 획득하기 위해서, 이용가능한 총 전송 전력을 모든 선택된 전송 채널들 사이에 분배하도록 유도되는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 품질은 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비(signal-to-noise-plus-interference ratio)들에 의해 추정되는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 결정된 특징들은 채널 이득들인 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 결정된 특징들은 수신된 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비들인 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 특정 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비 임계치보다 크거나 그와 동일한 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비를 갖는 전송 채널들이 선택되는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 결정된 특징들은 전력 제어 정보를 통해 표현되는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 전력 제어 정보는 전력 레벨의 변경에 대한 요청들을 표시하는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 다중 입력 다중 출력 통신 시스템은 직교 주파수 분할 변조를 이용하고, 상기 복수의 이용가능한 공간 전송 채널들은 복수의 주파수 서브채널들의 공간 서브채널들에 대응하는 데이터 처리 방법.
- 다중-채널 통신 시스템의 전송기 유닛으로서,다수의 전송 안테나들 및 다수의 수신 안테나들 사이에서 데이터 전송에 이용가능한 복수의 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 특징들을 나타내는 채널 상태 정보를 수신하고, 상기 채널 특징들 및 임계치에 기초하여 상기 공간 전송 채널들 중 전부가 아닌 하나 이상의 공간 전송 채널들을 선택하도록 구성되는 제어기; 및상기 제어기와 연결되고, 코딩된 데이터를 제공하기 위해 모든 선택된 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 데이터를 수신하여 이를 특정 코딩 방식에 기초하여 코딩하며, 변조 심볼들을 제공하기 위해 특정 변조 방식에 기초하여 모든 선택된 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 코딩된 데이터를 변조하며, 각각의 가중치에 기초하여 각각의 선택된 공간 전송 채널에 대한 변조 심볼들을 가중화하도록 구성되는 전송 데이터 프로세서를 포함하며,상기 각각의 가중치는 상기 대응하는 선택된 공간 전송 채널에 대한 전송 전력 레벨을 나타내며 상기 선택된 전송 채널의 특징들에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여 유도되며,상기 선택된 공간 전송 채널들을 위한 가중치들은, 상기 선택된 공간 전송 채널들을 통해 수신되는 변조 심볼들에 대해 유사한 수신 품질을 획득하기 위해서, 이용가능한 총 전송 전력을 모든 선택된 전송 채널들 사이에 분배하도록 유도되는, 전송기 유닛.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 수신 품질은 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비(signal-to-noise-plus-interference ratio)들에 의해 추정되는 전송기 유닛.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 특징들은 채널 이득들인 전송기 유닛.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 특징들은 수신된 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비들인 전송기 유닛.
- 제 12항에 있어서, 상기 제어기는 특정 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비 임계치보다 크거나 그와 동일한 신호-대-잡음-및-간섭비를 갖는 공간 전송 채널들을 선택하도록 구성되는 전송기 유닛.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 공간 전송 채널들에 대한 상기 특징들은 전력 제어 정보를 통해 표현되는 전송기 유닛.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 상기 전력 제어 정보는 전력 레벨의 변경에 대한 요청들 을 표시하는 전송기 유닛.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 다중 입력 다중 출력 통신 시스템은 직교 주파수 분할 변조를 이용하고, 상기 복수의 이용가능한 공간 전송 채널들은 복수의 주파수 서브채널들의 공간 서브채널들에 대응하는 전송기 유닛.
