Claims (20)
- 활성 입자 어레이를 포함하고, 약 2 마이크론 미만의 평균 흐름 거리를 갖는 미공성 구조; 및상기 미공성 구조의 적어도 일부분에 흡착된 중 전하밀도 내지 고 전하밀도 및 약 5000 달톤 초과의 분자량을 갖는 양이온성 물질, 및 상기 양이온성 물질에 아주 근접해 있고 또한 상기 미공성 구조의 적어도 일부분에 흡착된 생물학적 활성 금속을 포함하는 미생물 차단 강화제를 포함하는 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 활성 입자가 활성탄, 활성 알루미나, 제올라이트, 규조토, 규산염, 규산알루미늄, 티탄산염, 골탄, 칼슘 히드록시아파티트, 산화망간, 산화철, 산화마그네슘(magnesia), 퍼라이트, 탈크, 중합체 미립자, 점토, 요오드 수지, 이온교환 수지, 세라믹 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 것이고, 결합제를 추가로 포함하는 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미공성 구조가 약 1 마이크론 이하의 평균 흐름 거리를 갖는 것인 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미생물 차단 강화제가, 미공성 구조의 적어도 일부분을 반대이온이 회합되어 있는 양이온성 물질로 처리하고, 이어서 생물학적 활성 금속을 상기 양이온성 물질과 회합되어 있는 반대이온의 적어도 일부분과 함께 침전시킴으로써 형성된 것인 여과재.
- 제4항에 있어서, 양이온성 물질이 약 400,000 달톤 이상의 분자량을 갖는 디알릴 디메틸 암모늄 클로라이드의 호모폴리머를 포함하는 것인 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미공성 구조가 활성 입자의 고형 복합 블럭 또는 활성 입자가 고정된 평판 구조를 포함하는 것인 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미공성 구조가 활성 입자의 압출, 성형, 슬립주조, 분말 코팅, 습식성형 또는 건식성형에 의하여 형성된 것인 여과재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 유입물이 약 12 초 미만 동안 여과재와 공베드 접촉시간(empty bed contact time)을 가질 때, 유입물내의 미생물 오염물을 약 로그 6 초과로 감소시키는 여과재.
- 입구 및 출구를 갖는 하우징; 및(a) 약 2 마이크론 미만의 평균 흐름 거리를 가지고, 활성탄, 활성 알루미나, 제올라이트, 규조토, 규산염, 규산알루미늄, 티탄산염, 골탄, 칼슘 히드록시아파티트, 산화망간, 산화철, 산화마그네슘(magnesia), 퍼라이트, 탈크, 중합체 미립자, 점토, 요오드 수지, 이온교환 수지, 세라믹 또는 이들의 혼합물의 활성 입자를 포함하는 미공성 구조; 및 (2) 고 전하밀도 및 약 5000 달톤 초과의 분자량을 가지고 반대이온이 회합되어 있으며 상기 미공성 구조의 적어도 일부분 상에 흡착된 양이온성 물질, 및 상기 양이온성 물질과 회합된 적어도 일부분의 반대이온과 함께 침전을 일으키는 생물학적 활성 금속을 포함하는 미생물 차단 강화제를 포함하는, 상기 입구 및 출구와 유체로 소통되는 하우징내에 위치한 여과재를 포함하고, 이때 상기 하우징을 통해 흘러 여과재와 접촉하는 미생물 오염된 유입물이 하우징으로부터 흘러나오는 유출물에서는 미생물 오염물이 약 로그 4 이상 감소되는 것인 여과 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 미공성 구조의 활성 입자가 고형 복합 블럭 또는 활성 입자가 고정된 평판 구조인 여과 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 미공성 구조의 활성 입자가 슬립주조, 습식성형 또는 건식성형된 것인 여과 시스템.
- 약 0.1 마이크론 내지 약 5,000 마이크론의 평균 입도를 갖는 활성 입자를 제공하는 단계;고 전하밀도 및 약 5000 달톤 초과의 분자량을 갖는 양이온성 물질을 생물학적 활성 금속과 함께 포함하는 미생물 차단 강화제로 상기 활성 입자를 처리하는 단계; 및상기 처리된 활성 입자로 약 2 마이크론 미만의 평균 흐름 거리를 갖는 미공성 구조를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 미생물 차단력이 강화된 여과재의 제조 방법.
- 약 0.1 마이크론 내지 약 5,000 마이크론의 평균 입도를 갖는 활성 입자를 제공하는 단계;상기 활성 입자를 유합시켜 약 2 마이크론 미만의 평균 흐름 거리를 갖는 미공성 구조를 이루는 단계; 및고 전하 밀도 및 약 5000 달톤 초과의 분자량을 갖는 양이온성 물질을 생물학적 활성 금속과 함께 포함하는 미생물 차단 강화제로 상기 미공성 구조를 처리하는 단계를 포함하는, 미생물 차단력이 강화된 여과재의 제조 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 활성 입자를 제공하는 단계가 활성탄, 활성 알루미나, 제올라이트, 규조토, 규산염, 규산알루미늄, 골탄, 칼슘 히드록시아파티트, 산화망간, 산화마그네슘(magnesia), 퍼라이트, 탈크, 중합체 미립자, 점토 또는 이들의 혼합물인 활성 입자를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것이며, 결합제를 첨가하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 처리 단계가미공성 구조 또는 활성 입자의 적어도 일부분을 반대이온이 회합되어 있는 양이온성 물질로 코팅하는 단계; 및상기 미공성 구조 또는 활성 입자의 적어도 일부분 상에서, 양이온성 물질과 회합된 적어도 일부분의 반대이온과 함께 생물학적 활성 금속을 침전시키는 단계를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 처리 단계에 있어서, 양이온성 물질이 아민, 4차 암모늄 염, 벤즈알코늄 화합물, 비구아니드, 아미노실리콘 화합물, 이들의 중합체 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 처리 단계에 있어서, 생물학적 활성 금속이 은, 구리, 아연, 카드뮴, 수은, 안티몬, 금, 알루미늄, 백금, 팔라듐 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 활성 입자를 미공성 구조로 형성 또는 유합시키는 단계가 압출, 슬립주조, 또는 활성 입자를 평판 구조로 고정시키는 것을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 활성 입자를 포함하고 약 2 마이크론 미만의 평균 흐름 거리를 갖는 미공성 구조, 및 중 전하밀도 내지 고 전하밀도 및 약 5000 달톤 초과의 분자량을 가지고 상기 미공성 구조의 적어도 일부분에 흡착된 양이온성 물질을 생물학적 활성 금속과 함께 포함하는 미생물 차단 강화제를 포함하는 여과재를 제공하는 단계;미생물 오염된 유체를 약 12 초 이하 동안 상기 여과재와 접촉시키는 단계; 및미생물 오염물의 감소가 약 로그 4를 초과하는 유출물을 얻는 단계를 포함하는, 유체로부터 미생물 오염물을 제거하는 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 여과재를 제공하는 단계에 있어서, 미공성 구조가 활성탄을 포함하는 활성 입자를 포함하는 것인 방법.
