Claims (4)
- 제올라이트 베타 촉매의 존재 하에 고정층 반응기에서 5-오르토-톨릴펜텐을 고리화 반응시켜 1,5-디메틸테트랄린을 제조하는 방법에 있어서,상기 고리화 반응은 촉매의 존재 하에서 140℃에서 공간속도 9hr-1의 유속으로 5-오르토-톨릴펜텐을 고정층 반응기에 투입하여 이루어지고,상기 제올라이트 베타 촉매는 450 내지 550℃에서 SiCl4 및 질소의 혼합가스를 이용하여 촉매결정내의 알루미늄과 SiCl4의 실리콘을 치환시켜 제조되고 촉매내의 Si/Al의 원자비가 20 내지 30인 탈알루미늄화된 제올라이트 베타 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 1,5-디메틸테트랄린의 제조방법.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 SiCl4및 질소의 혼합가스는 SiCl4와 질소의 부피비가 1:3~9인 것을 특징으로 하는 1,5-디메틸테트랄린의 제조방법.
