Claims (19)
- 제1기판과,상기 제1기판과 대향하는 제2기판과,상기 제1기판과 상기 제2기판에 끼워진 액정과,상기 제1기판 위의 화소마다 설치되어, 상기 액정을 구동하는 구동 회로와,상기 화소마다 또는 복수의 상기 화소마다 설치되어, 상기 액정을 구동하기 위해서 발전하여 전압을 공급하는 광발전 소자와,전자파를 공급해서 상기 구동회로를 제어하는 제어용 전자파원을 구비하고,상기 구동 회로는, 상기 전자파를 복조하는 복조부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 광발전 소자는, 상기 화소의 개구부 주변에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 광발전 소자는, 소정의 색을 가지고, 빛이 투과가능한 박막으로 형성되며, 상기 화소의 개구부에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전자파는, 자외로부터 적외의 파장을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제어용 전자파원은, 백라이트에 삽입하고,상기 백라이트의 도광체에서, 상기 전자파와, 상기 백라이트의 주 광원으로부터의 빛이 서로 섞이는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제어용 전자파원은, 프론트라이트에 삽입되고,상기 프론트라이트의 도광체에서, 상기 전자파와, 상기 프론트라이트의 주 광원으로부터의 빛이 서로 섞이는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 전자파는, 가시광 범위 이외의 비가시광 범위의 파장인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제어용 전자파원은, 주 광원으로서도 기능하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제어용 전자파원은, 점등·비점등 기간의 비율이 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 제어용 전자파원은, 점등·비점등 기간의 비율에 점등 기간의 광강도를 곱한 값이 일정한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로는, 상기 전자파 중 특정 파장범위를 선택적으로 통과시키는 필터를 더 구비하고, 상기 필터를 통과한 상기 전자파에 의거하여 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 12항에 있어서,상기 필터는, 컬러 표시화를 위한 컬러 필터의 일부를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 12항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로의 구동 타이밍인 클록 신호와, 상기 화소에 기록하는 데이터 신호로서 상기 전자파를 이용하고,상기 구동 회로는, 복수의 상기 필터를 사용하여 상기 전자파로부터 적어도 상기 클록 신호 및 상기 데이터 신호를 각각 분리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 12항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로의 구동 타이밍인 클록 신호로서 상기 전자파를 이용하고,상기 구동 회로는, 상기 클록 신호의 하이 기간 또는 로 기간의 길이에 의거하여 상기 액정에 인가하는 전압을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로는, 소정의 화소를 제외하고, 상기 화소의 기록 타이밍인 스타트 펄스 신호를 상기 화소 사이에 설치된 배선으로 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 데이터 신호는, 복수의 신호를 중첩시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 구동 회로는, 상기 액정에 인가하는 전압의 극성을 소정의 주기로 반전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 기재한 액정표시장치를 복수 타일링하여 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 대형 액정표시장치.
