Abstract
Description
Claims (48)
- 디스플레이 모듈과 광원 사이의 디스플레이에 사용하기 위한 패시브 반투과성 조립체이며,흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는, 조립체의 디스플레이 측의 흡수 편광자와,조립체의 디스플레이 측으로부터 흡수 편광자를 통해 투과된 광을 수용하도록 배치되고, 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와 소정의 관계로 제1 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는 제1 반사 편광자와,흡수 편광자로부터 제1 반사 편광층을 통해 투과된 광을 수용하도록 조립체의 광원측에 배치되고 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와 다른 제2 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는 제2 반사 편광자층을 포함하는 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태는 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와 대체로 유사한 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태는 선형 편광 상태이고, 제1 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태는 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태의 약 15°내로 배향된 선형 편광 상태인 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2 반사 편광자들 중 적어도 하나는 선형 반사 편광자를 포함하는 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 및 제2 반사 편광자들 중 적어도 하나는 원형 반사 편광자와, 원형 반사 편광자 및 흡수 편광자 사이에 배치된 지연층을 포함하는 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제4항에 있어서, 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태는 선형 편광 상태이고, 제2 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태는 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와 평행하지 않은 선형 편광 상태인 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제4항에 있어서, 제2 반사 편광자는 선형 반사 편광자와, 선형 반사 편광자 및 제1 반사 편광자 사이에 편광 회전층을 포함하고, 선형 반사 편광자는 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와 대체로 평행한 선형 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 제1항에 있어서, ⅰ) 흡수 편광자와 제1 반사 편광자 사이 및 ⅱ) 제1 및 제2 반사 편광자 사이 중 적어도 하나에 접착층을 추가로 포함하는 패시브 반투과성 조립체.
- 광 모듈레이터와 광원 사이의 디스플레이에 사용하기 위한 패시브 편광자 조립체이며,광 모듈레이터로부터 제1 측면 상에 입사하는 제1 편광 상태의 광과, 광원으로부터 제2 측면 상에 입사하는 제1 편광 상태의 반사광을 흡수하고, 제1 편광 상태에 수직인 제2 편광 상태의 광을 투과하는 제1 편광자 수단과,제3 편광 상태의 제1 편광 수단으로부터 수용된 광을 반사하고 제3 편광 상태에 수직인 제4 편광 상태의 제1 편광 수단으로부터 수용된 광을 투과하는, 제1 및 제2 편광 상태들과는 다른 반사 편광 상태를 가지며 제1 편광 수단과 광원 사이에 배치된 반사 편광 수단을 포함하는 패시브 편광자 조립체.
- 광 모듈레이터와,광원과,제1 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는 제1 흡수 편광자와, 제1 흡수 편광자와 광원의 사이에 배치되고 제1 흡수 편광자 투과 편광 상태와는 다른 제1 반사 편광자 투과 편광 상태를 형성하는 제1 반사 편광자와, 제1 흡수 편광자와 제1 반사 편광자의 사이에 배치되고 흡수 편광자에서 흡수 가능한 편광을 가지는 광원으로부터 제1 반사 편광자를 통해 투과된 광을 반사하고 광 모듈레이터로부터 제1 반사 편광자로 흡수 편광자를 통해 투과된 광을 투과시키는 제2 반사 편광자를 포함하는, 광 모듈레이터와 광원 사이에 배치된 패시브 반투과 유닛을 포함하는 광학 시스템.
