- 용착 표면을 포함하는 진공 용착 체임버를 제공하고;상기 진공 용착 체임버 내에, 각각 상기 용착 표면 쪽으로 향하는, 릴리스 코팅 소스 및 금속 용착 소스를 제공하고;진공 하에 상기 릴리스 코팅 소스로부터의 기화된 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층 및 상기 금속 용착 소스로부터의 증착 금속층을 교호로 상기 용착 표면 위에 용착시켜, 개재하는 릴리스 코팅층에 의해 분리되고 그 위에 용착된 금속층의 다층 증착물을 순서대로 형성하고;상기 릴리스 코팅층은, 진공하에 기화되어 연속적인 장벽층(barrier layer) 및 각각의 금속층이 형성되는 지지면을 형성하는 열가소성 폴리머 재료를 포함하고, 상기 증착된 열가소성 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층은 유기 용매 내에 용해 가능하며;상기 증착 금속을 포함하는 금속층은 400 옹스트롬 미만의 필름 두께로 금속 용착되고; 및상기 진공 체임버로부터 다층 증착물을 제거하고, 상기 릴리스 코팅층을 용해하고 상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 필수적으로 없는 단일층 금속 플레이크를 형성하는 유기 용매로 처리하여 상기 다층 증착물을 금속 플레이크들로 분리하는금속 플레이크 제조 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 릴리스층 및 금속층이 칠드(chilled) 회전 드럼과 열 접촉하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가, 용착된 금속층의 응축열이 미리 용착된 릴리스층을 용융시키지 않도록 하는 릴리스 코팅에 대한 열 전도성과 조합된 유리 전이 온도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 스티렌 또는 아크릴 폴리머, 또는 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 금속층이 알루미늄, 구리, 은, 크롬, 주석, 아연, 인듐 및 니크롬으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 릴리스 코팅/금속층의 조합이 적어도 10회 반복적으로 용착되어 증착물을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 용착 표면을 포함하는 진공 용착 체임버를 제공하고;상기 진공 용착 체임버 내에, 각각 상기 용착 표면 쪽으로 향하는, 릴리스 코팅 증착 소스, 금속 증착 소스 및 보호 코팅 증착 소스를 제공하고;진공 하에 상기 용착 표면 위에, (1) 상기 릴리스 코팅 증착 소스로부터 릴리스 코팅 재료층, (2) 상기 보호 코팅 증착 소스로부터 제1 폴리머 보호 외부 코팅, (3) 상기 금속 증착 소스로부터 금속층, (4) 상기 보호 코팅 증착 소스로부터 제2 폴리머 보호 외부 코팅, 및 (5) 상기 릴리스 코팅 증착 소스로부터 릴리스 코팅 재료의 추가 층의 순서로 증착시켜, 각각 제1 및 제2 폴리머 보호 외부 코팅에 결합된 금속층 및 인접하는 다층 플레이크 재료층들 사이에 개재하는 릴리스 코팅층을 포함하는 다층 플레이크 재료의 증착물을 순서대로 형성하고;상기 릴리스 코팅층은, 진공하에 기화되어 연속적인 장벽층(barrier layer) 및 각각의 다층 플레이크 재료층이 형성되는 지지면을 형성하는 열가소성 폴리머 재료를 포함하고, 상기 증착된 열가소성 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층은 유기 용매 내에 용해 가능하며;상기 증착 금속을 포함하는 금속층은 400 옹스트롬 미만의 필름 두께로 가해지고; 및상기 진공 체임버로부터 다층 플레이크 재료의 증착물을 제거하고, 상기 릴리스 코팅층을 용해하고 상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 필수적으로 없는 표면을 가지며 상기 제1 및 제2 보호 외부 코팅층에 마주 대하는 면에 결합된 금속층을 포함하는 다층 플레이크를 형성하는 유기 용매로 처리하여 상기 다층 플레이크 재료의 증착물을 플레이크들로 분리하는보호 외부 코팅을 가진 다층 금속 플레이크 제조 공정.
- 용착 표면을 포함하는 진공 용착 체임버를 제공하고;상기 진공 용착 체임버 내에, 각각 상기 용착 표면 쪽으로 향하는, 릴리스 코팅 소스 및 무기 플레이크 재료 용착 소스를 제공하고;진공 하에 상기 릴리스 코팅 소스로부터의 기화된 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층 및 상기 플레이크 재료 용착 소스로부터의 증착 무기 재료층을 교호로 상기 용착 표면 위에 용착시켜, 개재하는 릴리스 코팅층에 의해 분리되고 그 위에 용착된 무기 플레이크 재료의 다층 증착물을 순서대로 형성하고;상기 릴리스 코팅층은, 진공하에 기화되어 연속적인 장벽층(barrier layer) 및 각각의 무기 플레이크 재료층이 형성되는 지지면을 형성하는 열가소성 폴리머 재료를 포함하고, 상기 증착된 열가소성 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층은 유기 용매 내에 용해 가능하며;상기 무기 플레이크 재료층은 마그네슘 플루오라이드, 실리콘 모노옥사이드, 실리콘 디옥사이드, 알루미늄 옥사이드, 알루미늄 플루오라이드, 인듐 주석 옥사이드, 티타늄 디옥사이드 및 아연 설파이드으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 증착된 무기 재료를 포함하고; 및상기 진공 체임버로부터 다층 증착물을 제거하고, 상기 릴리스 코팅층을 용해하고 상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 필수적으로 없는 단일층 무기 재료 플레이크를 형성하는 유기 용매로 처리하여 상기 다층 증착물을 무기 재료의 플레이크들로 분리하는플레이크 제조 공정.
- 용착 표면을 포함하는 진공 용착 체임버를 제공하고;상기 진공 용착 체임버 내에, 각각 상기 용착 표면 쪽으로 향하는, 릴리스 코팅 소스 및 비금속 용착 소스를 제공하고;진공 하에 상기 릴리스 코팅 소스로부터의 기화된 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층 및 상기 비금속 용착 소스로부터의 증착 비금속층을 교호로 상기 용착 표면 위에 용착시켜, 개재하는 릴리스 코팅층에 의해 분리되고 그 위에 용착된 비금속층의 다층 증착물을 순서대로 형성하고;상기 릴리스 코팅층은, 진공하에 기화되어 연속적인 장벽층(barrier layer) 및 각각의 비금속층이 형성되는 지지면을 형성하는 열가소성 폴리머 재료를 포함하고, 상기 증착된 열가소성 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층은 유기 용매 내에 용해 가능하며;상기 비금속층은 400 옹스트롬 미만의 필름 두께로 용착되고; 및상기 진공 체임버로부터 다층 증착물을 제거하고, 상기 릴리스 코팅층을 용해하고 상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 필수적으로 없는 단일층 비금속 플레이크를 형성하는 유기 용매로 처리하여 상기 다층 증착물을 비금속 플레이크들로 분리하는비금속 플레이크 제조 공정.
- 용착 표면을 포함하는 진공 용착 체임버를 제공하고;진공 용착 체임버 내에, 각각 상기 용착 표면 쪽으로 향하는, 릴리스 코팅 소스 및 플레이크 용착 소스를 제공하고;진공 하에 상기 릴리스 코팅 소스로부터의 기화된 폴리머 릴리스 코팅층 및 상기 플레이크 용착 소스로부터의 증착 플레이크 재료층을 교호로 상기 용착 표면 위에 용착시켜, 개재하는 릴리스 코팅층에 의해 분리되고 그 위에 용착된 플레이크 재료층의 다층 증착물을 순서대로 형성하고;상기 릴리스 코팅층은, 진공하에 기화되어 연속적인 장벽층(barrier layer) 및 각각의 플레이크 재료층이 형성되는 지지면을 형성하는 열가소성 폴리머 재료를 포함하고; 및상기 진공 체임버로부터 다층 증착물을 제거하고, 상기 릴리스 코팅층을 용해하고 상기 릴리스 코팅 재료가 필수적으로 없는 표면을 가진 플레이크를 형성하는 용매로 처리하여 상기 다층 증착물을 플레이크들로 분리하는플레이크 제조 공정.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 플레이크층이 400 옹스트롬 미만의 필름 두께로 용착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
