1520619 Producing foil by vapour deposition GOSUDARSTVEN NI I PROEKT INST SPLAVOV I OBRABOTKI TSVETNYKH METALLOV 23 May 1977 21602/77 Heading C7F Metal foil e.g. Al is produced by applying a layer of anti-adhesive to the surface of a rotating substrate and continuously condensing metallic vapour in a vacuum on the anti-adhesive layer as a metal foil layer, the said steps being continued so as to form a coil consisting of metal layers in which each succeeding metal layer is formed on an anti-adhesive layer applied to the preceding metal layer.
