Claims (4)
- 경사면과 여유면을 각각 적어도 하나 갖는 일반적으로 다각형 또는 둥근 모양의 몸체를 포함하는 초경합금, 서멧 또는 세라믹재의 코팅된 절삭 공구 인서트로서, 상기 인서트의 적어도 경사면에는 바람직하게는 MTCVD 로 증착된 하나 이상의 TiCxNy 층 및 α- Al2O3 외층을 포함하는 코팅이 2-10㎛ 의 두께로 적어도 부분적으로 피복 되어 있는 상기 절삭 공구 인서트에 있어서,상기 하나 이상의 경사면과 여유면에서- TiCxNy 층은 두께가 1 - 8㎛, 바람직하게는 2 -5 ㎛ 이며, 인장 응력 레벨은 10 - 300 MPa 이고,-α-Al2O3 층은 최외각 층으로서 두께가 1 - 5 ㎛, 바람직하게는 2 -4 ㎛ 이며, XRD 회절 강도 비가 I(012)/I(024) ≥ 1.5 이고, AFM 기술로 10 개의 무작위 선택된 영역 10×10㎛2 에서 측정하였을때 평균 Ra 값 (MRa) < 0.1 ㎛ 이거나,또는- 상기 하나 이상의 경사면에서만- TiCxNy 층은 두께가 1 - 8㎛ 이며, 인장 응력 레벨이 10 - 300 MPa 이고,-α-Al2O3 층은 두께가 1 - 5 ㎛, 바람직하게는 2 -4 ㎛ 이며, XRD 회절 강도 비가 I(012)/I(024) ≥ 1.5 이고, AFM 기술로 10 개의 무작위 선택된 영역 10× 10㎛2 에서 측정하였을때 평균 Ra 값 (MRa) < 0.1 ㎛ 이고,상기 하나 이상의 여유면에서는- TiCxNy 층은 인장 응력이 600 - 1000 MPa 이고,-α-Al2O3 층은 XRD 회절 강도 비가 I(012)/I(024) < 1.5 이고, 또한 다른 색깔이 나타나도록 0.1 - 2㎛ 의 얇은 두께를 지닌 TiN, TiCxNy 또는 TiC 층으로 덮여 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 코팅된 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 TiCxNy 층위에 두께 0.1 - 1㎛ 의 얇은 TiCxNyOz 결합층을 가지고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 열 팽창 계수가 5.5 * 10-6 m/K 이상인 초경합금으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 높은 표면 매끄러움과 낮은 인장 응력 레벨을 가진 TiCxNy 층과 α- Al2O3 층을 가지는 CVD 코팅 절삭 공구 인서트를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 코팅에 대하여 1.8 - 2.4 바의 공기 압력에서 Al2O3 의 F80 그릿과 물로 이루어진 슬러리를 사용하는 첫번째 강력한 습식 블라스팅을 실시하고, 이어서 약 2 바의 공기 압력에 서 Al2O3 의 F320 그릿과 물로 이루어진 슬러리를 사용하는 두번째 블라스팅을 실시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 CVD 코팅 절삭 공구 인서트의 제조 방법.
