Claims (9)
- 동기정류방식의 스위칭 레귤레이터로서,제 1 전위를 공급하는 제 1 전원과 상기 제 1 전위보다 낮은 제 2 전위를 공급하는 제 2 전원 사이에 설치되며, 상기 제 1 전원 측으로부터 순차 직렬로 배치된 제 1 및 제 2 스위치와,상기 제 1 및 제 2 스위치의 온 오프를 제어하는 스위치 제어부와,상기 제 1 스위치와 상기 제 2 스위치 사이의 출력 노드 전위를 평활화시키는 평활회로를 구비하고,상기 스위치 제어부는,상기 제 1 스위치를 온 상태로 한 경우에서, 상기 출력 노드 전위가 돌입전류 또는 과잉전류의 발생을 검지하기 위한 기준이 되는 제 1 기준전위를 밑돌 때는 상기 제 1 스위치를 오프 상태로 하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 1 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 스위치 제어부는,상기 제 1 기준전위를 생성하는 제 1 기준전위 생성회로와,상기 제 1 기준전위 생성회로에 의하여 생성된 제 1 기준전위와, 상기 출력 노드 전위를 비교하는 제 1 전위 비교기와,상기 제 1 전위 비교기의 비교 결과를 유효로 하는 유효기간을 설정하는 유효기간 설정회로를 구비하고, 또,상기 유효기간 설정회로에 의하여 설정된 유효기간에서 상기 제 1 전위 비교기에 의하여 상기 출력 노드 전위가 상기 제 1 기준전위를 밑돈 것이 검지되었을 때, 상기 제 1 스위치를 오프 상태로 하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 2 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 유효기간 설정회로는,유효기간의 개시 시기를 상기 제 1 스위치가 온 상태로 된 후, 소정 기간을 경과한 시기로 설정하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 1 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 스위치 제어부는,상기 제 1 스위치를 오프 상태로 한 다음에, 온 상태로 하기까지의 기간에서, 상기 제 2 스위치를 소정 기간 온 상태로 하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 4 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 제 2 스위치를 온 상태로 하는 기간은, 일정 기간으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 4 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 제 2 스위치를 온 상태로 하는 기간은, 상기 평활회로의 출력전압에 따라 가변으로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 4 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서,상기 스위치 제어부는,상기 제 2 스위치를 온 상태로 한 경우에서, 상기 출력 노드 전위가 상기 제 2 스위치의 온 기간 종료 시기를 정하기 위한 기준이 되는 제 2 기준전위를 웃돌 때는 상기 제 2 스위치를 오프 상태로 하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 청구항 1 기재의 스위칭 레귤레이터와,상기 스위칭 레귤레이터로부터 공급된 전압에 의하여 동작하는 LSI 코어부를 구비한 LSI 시스템.
- 제 1 전위를 공급하는 제 1 전원과 상기 제 1 전위보다 낮은 제 2 전위를 공급하는 제 2 전원 사이에 설치되며, 상기 제 1 전원 측으로부터 순차 직렬로 배치된 제 1 및 제 2 스위치와,상기 제 1 및 제 2 스위치의 온 오프를 제어하는 스위치 제어부를 구비하고,상기 스위치 제어부는,상기 제 1 스위치를 온 상태로 한 경우에 있어서, 상기 출력 노드 전위가 돌입전류 또는 과잉전류의 발생을 검지하기 위한 기준이 되는 제 1 기준전위를 밑돌 때는 상기 제 1 스위치를 오프 상태로 하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DC/DC변환기.
